Wanna be on top?
LA! Brittani calls panel the worst day of her life. She cries that Tyra thinks she’s a bad person. Brittani apologizes to Alexandria and says she’s non-confrontational. She exploded because she kept it on the inside. She realizes that she let it out at the wrong time, in the wrong way and apologizes to Alexandria. Alexandria accepts it though she confesses that she doesn’t trust any of the girls. The other girls seem to follow Brittani’s lead and decide to be nice to Alexandria again.
Tyra meets the girls at an art gallery. She calls it the “Hall of Portfolios.” She tells them how to put together a portfolio. She says a model doesn’t need a lot of pictures to book—it’s better to have three great pictures rather than 20 so-so pictures. Brittani says she still feels awkward with Tyra in the room. Then Tyra reveals that they have the letters to spell out the international destination. She has a “c” and they start questions: “Chile?” (Jaclyn), “Canada?” (Alexandria). But it is:
MOROCCO!
But first, the girls have to go on go-sees but only five people will go to Morocco. Whoever loses at the go-sees will not go to Morocco.
So, the girls go home to celebrate going to Morocco and see Jaclyn’s picture. Kyle Hagler from IMG Models comes for a visit to talk about go-sees. The girls must go to four go-sees and meet Kyle at Lana Marks at 3PM. The top three girls will get to see Lana Marks. Each represents an archetype that they have to dress for it. Most girls get to the first go-see—the bombshell archetype at Frankie B. Jones. Molly gets a little lost and is the last one on line.
COMMERCIALS!
As Alexandria praises the line, Molly decides to go to the next go-see. Alexandria impresses Frankie B. Jones’ Danielle. She also loved Brittani, Hannah and Kasia. She says she has a toothache from Jaclyn’s sweetness. Molly makes it to the girl next door House Casting. She does a screen test and didn’t impress Rachel. Alexandria does impress her. Poor Jaclyn is confused by the map as she’s from a small town. Brittani is also confused. Kasia made it to Oday Kashar, who liked her. Brittani makes it there too and says she was professional. Oday liked her walk. Jaclyn and Hannah are at House Casting. Hannah screws up a bit and Rachel thinks Jaclyn’s accent might be a problem. Molly makes it to Smashbox for the athletic. She says she has no athletic clothes and makes do. She still impressed the photographer.
Alexandria was lost until she saw Molly leave Smashbox. Jaclyn and Brittani are still driving around. Brittani decides just to go Lana Marks, which is what Jaclyn does as well. Alexandria quickly changes into a bathing suit and impresses the photographer. Kasia and Hannah make it back to Lana Marks. Alexandria decides to forgo the last one as Molly arrives at Lana. Alexandria has seconds to get there and makes it with 30 seconds to spare.
Kyle says that the top three girls were Molly, Alexandria and Kasia. Hannah needs to work on her walk while the other two just didn’t make it to enough. The three girls meet Lana Marks and the winner of this go-see will get to be in her campaign. And they will get a gift bag including an exact replica of Angelina Jolie’s clutch. Alexandria goes first. Molly is second. Kasia goes last. Lana picks Alexandria as the winner. I was hoping for Kasia. Molly apparently missed it because of how she was sitting on the couch.
Alexandria shows off her goodies to the other girls. Molly feels like hitting something while Brittani is upset with herself.

TYRA MAIL! “A modeling career is a terrible thing to waste.”
The Model Mobile arrives at a landfill. Eew. Nigel and Mr. Jay greet them to tell them they will be filming there. It is an eco-friendly couture designed for them by Michael Cinco. They were made from recycled items. They will be working from a green RV. Brittani wants to prove herself as Kasia goes first. Nigel thinks Kasia needs to work on her face more.
Jaclyn is next. A seagull poops on Mr. Jay as he’s positioning her. Nigel thinks Jaclyn needs to work on her face as well. Hannah is next and Mr. Jay tells her not to second-guess herself as it’s great. Hannah listens. Mr. Nigel goes to talk to Brittani. He reminds her that the judges believe in her. She says she knows and has to prove it to the judges. Alexandria comes out next. Mr. Jay and Nigel loved her. Molly follows and confesses it was her worst nightmare. She doesn’t show it when Nigel has the camera. When he puts it down, she asks for a gun. Nigel isn’t impressed.
Brittani is last. She decides to go down in the garbage. She impresses Mr. Jay with that as he calls it a wrap.
Skulls and Crossbones! I still want some guy dressed as a pirate to show up and read it to them one day! Kasia and Molly think that they are safe because they did well in the go-see.
Commercials!
Backstage, Andre teases Tyra. The girls arrive. There are prizes. There are judges: Nigel and Andre. And today’s guest judge is Lana Marks. Alexandria is first as Tyra notes her shirt says “No. 1.” Alexandria gets applause and Tyra reveals she booked each go-see. Nigel reveals she’s sitting on a ladder in her shoot. Tyra and Lana love it as does Andre. Jaclyn is next. She gets a lecture about missing go-sees before learning she booked both she went to. Nigel tells her to work her face and Andre tells her to work her arm a bit more. Molly booked two out of three jobs. Tyra called her cold and noticed her off moments. Nigel even comments about it on the shoot. If she had been constantly positive, Molly would’ve won the challenge. Tyra tells her to work it. Andre calls her picture an amazing editorial picture.
Next is Kasia. She booked two, some saying she was forced. Lana loves her shot. Tyra says she needs to work her body and learn tricks. Hannah book two jobs as she came off green and inexperienced. Lana loves Hannah’s body posture and Nigel says she is wearing the dress. Tyra tells her to stop doubting herself. Brittani is last. She apologizes and Tyra accepts her apology. She takes the blame. Tyra says she booked both go-sees and her walk impressed them. They love her picture and Tyra tells her to relax so her neck doesn’t look stiff.
Commercials!
The judges deliberate. They are impressed with Alexandria’s go-see results. Jaclyn is in danger with missing go-sees. Lana thought Hannah was going to break out into tears. Lana loves Brittani and Andre agrees. Nigel is worried about if Molly could book the job. ELIMINATION! So, who is the first girl going to Morocco: Alexandria! They comment on her shirt again. She will be going with Hannah, Kasia, and Brittani (yay!). Our bottom two is Molly and Jaclyn. Jaclyn: Only made it to two go-sees but she booked both. They loved her personality. Molly: Made to it to four out of five but the clients weren’t thrilled with her personality. Molly. Aww, I’m gonna miss Jaclyn’s southern commentary. Tyra tells Molly that she needs to do a little soul-searching and is there because of how strong her portfolio is.
Tyra hugs Jaclyn. She asks if Jaclyn is going to learn to read a map. She agrees and says it won’t stop at Top Model. Jaclyn says that it’s the beginning and advertises herself.

Go-sees are always a great episode. Watching the girls get lost and laugh because you know that would probably be you in their situation. Of course, I can actually read a map. And as someone who lived less than five miles from a landfill, I give props to the crew and the models for this week’s shoot. I’m glad Brittani gets to go to Morocco. Can’t wait!
