Face Off: Steal My Dreams…

This season on “Face Off:” Twelve competitors showed off their skills at special effects makeup! They had to deal with aliens, zombies, werewolves, candy and Autumn. One by one, they fell until only three remain after Eric F’s elimination last week. Who will win? Kris? Anthony? Wayne? Find out!

Face Off!

LA! The final 3 rest in their house. Kris and Wayne talk in the bedroom before Wayne goes to talk to his wife. Anthony gets to talk to parents and Kris to his family. It’s a tearjerker, all three conversations. They leave the house.

McKenzie meets them at the warehouse and she’s not alone. She welcomes them to the finale and reveals the final spotlight challenge will be in Vegas. She welcomes James Santos, who works on Le Reve, The Dream in Vegas. He tells them they will be creating dream thieves for the show. One character must be a dream thief and another character who is the victim. Anthony chooses sinister for his theme, Wayne picks supernatural and Kris chooses ethereal. Their creations will be in water so the makeups need to be waterproof. No pressure! They are getting help as past competitors come back.

Wayne: Eric F. and Meagan
Kris: House and Alam
Anthony: Eric Z. and Autumn

Michael couldn’t come back? At all? Really? Good luck, Anthony.

Kris has a good team and he knows it. Wayne discusses his plans with Meagan. He worries about the fact he normally can’t finish one makeup and now has to do two. But his vision is an angel dreaming of heaven and the thief wants to steal her wings. Meagan and Eric F. like it. Anthony has Autumn start sculpting. His vision is that his thief wants his victim’s soul. Meanwhile, Eric F. starts on the angel’s wings while Meagan works on the wings.

House is sculpting on the thief’s chest while Alam works on the female chest piece. Everyone works until TIME!

Day 2! Anthony just wants to get everything done to run them in foam. Kris is struggling a bit, saying he hates this challenge. Meagan says she loves it. Probably because she’s not in the finale. He is worried.

Coming Up: Autumn screws up? And the winn…ANTHONY LOOKS AMAZING IN GLASSES!

Sorry…COMMERCIALS!

Kris is rethinking his approach. Everyone continues to work as the Westmores show up for the last walkthrough. Anthony asks about the cowl and Michael tells him to really glue it down. Wayne explains he wants to avoid the neck area. They’ve been using Meagan as a test subject regarding paint and he suggests dipping her arm in warm water. Kris admits to being afraid of the water and Michael gives him suggestions. Everyone is going to miss him.

The Westmores leave as everyone continues working until TIME! Anthony gives his team a hug. Wayne feels he’s behind.

Day 3! Kris wants to focus on painting. Anthony notices some problems with the face prosthetics and the mold is broken. So he has to sculpt the face again. Autumn thought they could patch it but he points out it’s beyond repair. She agrees. So, sorry, Autumn. This wasn’t your fault.

Everyone feels bad for Anthony but they keep working. Autumn and Eric Z. struggle to open a mold and they might have to break the mannequin. He’s worried.

COMMERCIALS!

We come back to Team Anthony still trying to open the mold and they finally succeed. There’s a little damage but Anthony can work around it. Some people are painting, Alam works on hair. And then we hit TIME!

Everyone gets ready to go to VEGAS, BABY!

Vegas! The competitors get a limo to the Wynn and check out their room. It is gorgeous. Anthony collapses on a bed before they have a group hug. The three celebrate with champagne.

Day 4! Everyone goes to the Wynn Theater for applications. Wayne focuses on sealing his pieces as their models arrive. House helps Kris put on pieces while Meagan focuses on Team Wayne’s model’s hair. Wayne feels like he’s behind and Eric F. even teases him about it good-naturedly. McKenzie comes in to announce it is Last Looks and they have an hour to finish. So everyone focuses on finishing, which for Wayne means painting, painting, and painting.

TIME! Team mates hug each other.

Coming up: The winner!

McKenzie is introduced and everyone applauds. She welcomes everyone to the Face Off season finale and we see all the past competitors. She explains the spotlight…WHY HASN’T ANTHONY BEEN WEARING THOSE GLASSES ALL SEASON LONG? Sorry, I have a thing for men with glasses. Anyway, there are judges: Glenn, Ve, and Neville.

Kris: I like the thief, not sure about his victim.
Anthony: It looks awesome. Both of them.
Wayne: Oh, his look amazing as well. This is going to be difficult to decide.

The judges get to take a closer look before the models are submerged in water. The finalists are nervous. They like Kris’ detailing and the coloring on the man. Neville likes Anthony’s profile on his woman. They love his male model as well. The female performer reveals she can’t lift her eyebrows all the way. They love the sculpting. Glenn is not sure about the horns but Ve loves their design.

Time to submerge the models!

COMMERCIALS!

Le Reve, the Dream. The thieves stalk their victims before diving in. Anthony and Wayne are practically clutching each other in excitement. There is acrobatics, action in midair and lots of diving. But it looks like the makeup held up. The competitors pile on the finalists in a massive group hug.

McKenzie thanks the audience for being there and tells them to have a good night. We segue to the judges greeting the finalists. Glenn says it was amazing and Ve says she needs tips because the makeup looked good after the water.

Kris is first. Glenn loved the silver color for ethereal. He felt there was a disconnect between the two but it still was his. Ve loved the male and Neville loved the sculpting. Anthony is next. With his glasses! Ve says he did an amazing job and loved their coloring. She loved the dream thief. Neville loved the profile on the princess. Glenn says she looks beautiful in an “alien way.” He praises his skills. Wayne is last. Neville says the characters were a great team. And it was clearly his sculpting with good detailing. Glenn says the successes was on the thief and the back of the woman. Ve repeats her admiration for the horns.

The judges deliberate to determine the winner. But they applaud the finalists off…oh, hey, the competitors are still there. Kris: Could identify Kris’ characters in midair. Loved the thief. Anthony: Female still looked so beautiful. Both looked natural. Designs are usable and sinister. Wayne: A great sculptor. And painting skills have improved. Creatures were unique. The judges have chosen their winner.

The finalists stand before the judges. Who is the winner? It’s…

COMMERCIALS!

Anyway, our winner is…ANTHONY!

Everyone goes nuts as confetti falls. Wayne and Kris congratulate him along with McKenzie. He says it is amazing. Eric Z. and Autumn actually share a hug. McKenzie gives him the keys to his new car.
