Ring-Around-the-Rosie, the Models All Are Posing...

The bitches are back! And they are taking New York’s Upper East Side by storm.

Due to a late night at work, I missed about half of the casting episode. But these are our thirteen model wannabes to root for and little notes about what I learned:

New York! The models all talk about the usual: they can’t believe they are and that they will be America’s Next Top Model, blah blah blah. At least Sandra smacks of bitch so we might have a decent house bitch. The girls get to the observation deck and met Nigel and Paulina. They give Celia the keys to the house and therefore, the chance to pick her first bed. So she does, but Sandra tries to crib it since she ignored the rules and picked the bed first. She fights it until London offers her her bed. They call her a pacifist, but she really is smart. She knows there will be a bed soon.

After hearing about Tahlia’s burns and her brave story, the girls go to meet the Jays at Gastavino’s. The two inform them they will be doing a runway show, about good and bad girls. They get broken up into “angels” and “devils.” Tahlia isn’t too thrilled to be very covered up as she’s not afraid of her burn scars. Miss J opens the show and I want Aminat’s dress. And London’s…Isabella is worried about the strobe lights because strobe lights + epilepsy = NOT GOOD!

New York! Isabella steps out in a beautiful pink dress and handles the runway. Tahlia stomps down the runway and Paulina has a weird look while Allison does her first runway. She’s better than Hannah the Moose Girl from last cycle. Sandra doesn’t do the full runway and flirts while Jay wonders why she stopped. Ms. J threatens to get all the girls at judging after the show is over. The girls decompress at the house. Tahlia continues to complain about her outfit and her burns.

Sandra tries to sleep and kicks everyone out who is talking. So they do, begrudgingly. And talk about her in the living room! Sandra, learn to block it out. She threatens the line many, many kicked-off bitches utter: It is a competition, not a chance for friendship.

TYRA MAIL! “Eenie, meenie, miny mo, make it fearsome head to toe.” Jessica wants to rock it as they go to Central Park. And Mr. Jay bikes up—going green? Their first photoshoot is childhood games. The photographer is Fadil, who was sitting on the bench reading. It’s Christian! And Sutan! I think I miss Sutan the most.

Fo (Ring-a-round the Rosie): Is a preschool teacher. Go get those bad girls.

London (Tug of War): Actually falls in the mud.

Tahlia (Tag): Very stiff and frozen. She rattles off why she wants to model and Jay thinks she is saying all the right things. Tahlia feels insecure.

Cage Girl does her life as a Cover Girl. I still think Analeigh should’ve won.

Natalie (Leap Frog): Jay loves the pregnant girl.

Sandra (Hide and Seek): Is too tense.

Kortnie (Monkey Bars): Loves the chance to be acrobatic but is a bit tense.

Aminat (London Bridge): Is too fierce

Allison (Double Dutch): Has beautiful faces

Teyana (Hop Scotch): Good.

Celia (Hula Hoop): Pretty good

Nijah (Musical chairs): Pretty quick

Isabella (Dodge Ball): Is horrible.

Jessica (Jacks): Is a bit repetitive and isn’t so good pose-wise.

At the house, Tyra mail delivers the news that someone has to go. The girls talk about it. Sandra is sure she isn’t going to go despite the girls warning her she will hear about her walk at panel. Sandra says she doesn’t mess up when it comes to modeling. Except going down a runway, bitch. Tahlia and London are nervous.

Tyra shows video of her and a little girl and goes into panel. My sister talked over judges and prizes and still won’t shut up. Sandra is up first. Paulina thinks she looks lost and Tyra says there is much she could’ve done. Nigel notes she is nervous. Celia is next and is praised. Fo follows and is praised for her adorableness, but not for her modelness. Aminat is next and is told to take her earrings off. She is asked to have been more vulnerable. London Bridge to London. After a wardrobe change, she is praised for her picture. And she was worried. Jessica is praised for being couture but scolded for falling flat. Teyana is given head instructions. Isabella’s picture stump the judges and Tyra mentions her film was bad. Nijah is praised for her face and eyes, less musical chairs. Kortnie looks like she escaped a parade, per Paulina. Allison gets good marks and notes to inspire the extras who are tired. Tahlia gets to talk about being covered up at the runway show. And finally Natalie, who has headband line. Tyra likes her, Paulina is iffy.

Apparently Cycle 13 will be filled with girls under 5’7.

The judges deliberate! Paulina and Nigel agree! About London’s hips. Aww, I like London. The girls go back in. Once again, best picture=digital art. And that girl is Allison. YAY! Aww, she veers off going to the safe site. Safe with Allison are: Fo, Teyana, London, Celia, Nijah, Kortnie, Natalie, Aminat, Tahlia, and Jessica. Sandra and Isabella are in the bottom two. Good lord, I’ve learned their names already? Wow. Isabella: Girl next door who bombed on set, Sandra: Bombed on the runway, bombed on photo. Who stays? The bitch, please. And it is. Sandra stays, London gets Isabella’s bed. Tyra tells Isabella to practice because she has potential. GROUP HUG!

Isabella packs and talks about not booking this job. She talks about the next one and says good-bye for now. She fades out.
