At the house, some of the models play beer pong. Dustin and Nyle seem to have a bromance going on. Dustin even learned some sign language to have conversations with Nyle. Nyle thinks that Dustin’s a cool dude and just needs to step up his game so he can continue on in the competition.
Devin and Mikey take to the runway to teach everyone how to walk better. Uh, isn’t that Miss J’s job? They even mock some eliminated semi-finalists walks. Ashley jumps up to join them and Bello calls them the “Mean Girl clique.” Devin calls them DMA (Devin Mikey Ashley) and Mikey says they are a modeling gang and will take on any other gangs out there.
We get some footage of the developing romances—Justin and Mame sharing a bed as Mikey shares one with Ashley. Though Ashley claims Mikey jumped into bed with her. Bello has the bed next to hers and says he needs eight hours of sleep. He says he starts to hear moaning and we cut to night cam to see him pushing Ashley’s bed away from his. He says he doesn’t want to be touched and they ask him who is touch him. He continues going on and Mikey jumps up, getting in his face and cursing. Bello taunts him to “knock him out” as we go to CREDITS!

We come back to Bello and Mikey’s argument. Ashley holds Mikey back as Devin comes in to mediate. He recalls what happened to Romeo last cycle—and we get to relive drunk!Romeo headbutting Adam and then being dismissed from the competition by Miss J. Devin tells Mikey he doesn’t want to go home over Bello. Their screaming wakes up the rest of the house and some of the guys get Mikey out of the room. Ashley takes him down to the posing station while someone (I think it’s Mame) stays to comfort Bello. DMA crowd into the confessional, talk smack about Bello and then put up their “L’s” for losers.
Five bucks says the only one who got a good night’s rest was Nyle.
The next day, the contestants go through their morning routine. Devin asks Bello if he’s okay as Mikey says they need to keep their distance. Meanwhile, Justin discovers he has a hickey after cuddling with Mame. She teases him about it.
The model mobile takes them to a studio where Yu Tsai introduces them to Anthony de la Rosa from NEXT Management. Specifically, he’s part of the New Face division. That’s probably the division the winner will end up in. He and Yu Tsai talks about retouching and how the public has had a backlash against it. And how now the cool thing is to do untouched photos. But he says that there are good retouched pictures. Massimo has been hauled in to take their pictures using their phones. And then they’ll work with a professional to retouch their photo.
The contestants hit hair and makeup. Yu Tsai says that he hopes the models will recognize their flaws and first try to cover them up with their poses then try to retouch it. He says if models can minimize the need for retouching, it’s a very important skill to have. Mikey is up first. He removes his tattoos in post-production. Bello follows him and he vows to send Mikey home. Mikey confesses that he’s going to keep Bello up.
Lacey says she needs to work on her legs and she talks about retouched pictures in magazines. Ashley says she’s working on squinting and retouches her hair before Dustin tries to be man-next-door. Hadassah talks about being in the bottom two and she says she needs to work on being high fashion.
Courtney struggles to pick her frames while Nyle is amazed at everything the phone can be. He removes his earring hole while Devin works on hiding his eyebrows.
Once the models are done, the photos are revealed. Anthony likes Mikey’s headshot as Bello trashes it in confessional. Anthony loves Lacey’s headshot and gives her some tips for working on her legs. Yu Tsai spots Justin’s hickey and calls it out. Courtney’s choices aren’t well received and Yu Tsai tells her to eat more. He appreciates Devin fixing the eyebrow but tells him to take the earring hole out. Anthony thinks Dustin is too sweet and Yu Tsai tells him to take the smile out. Dustin says it’s tough to consider that because he’s a smiling guy.
Yu Tsai reveals that the winner of the challenge will get a romantic dinner for two. Anthony says the winner is…Mikey. Bello is pissed. Yu Tsai asks him who is going to take on town and he picks Devin. He calls Ashley is undercover and Bello’s like “You didn’t pick her? What?” You can tell Ashley is thinking that as well.

At the house, everyone goes to check out their scores. Courtney is not thrilled to see herself on the bottom with a 7. Ashley is surprised by her 8 and Nyle is not thrilled to see he has an 8. Again. Dustin is on the bottom with Courtney, Mame and Bello with 7s. He says he’s nervous.
Devin and Mikey go out for dinner. They take pictures and try to relax, putting the fight with Bello aside. Ashley says she doesn’t have any hard feelings and figures they needed some “guy time.”
Mikey and Devin burst into the house, admiring their challenge scores before heading to the Tyra Suite. Bello says they changed the energy in the house as they make fun of Ava’s picture. Mikey tells Courtney he doesn’t want to see any picture up there unless it’s him or Devin. Courtney is annoyed and she leave the room. She goes to confide in Ava, saying they are fake. She says she took an amazing picture and says they have to be there for each other. Ava thanks Courtney.
She then goes to confront Mikey and Devin. Mikey tells her not to listen to Courtney. He says that people want to see their pictures up there. She tells them to keep it to confessionals because it hurts. He tells her to go enjoy the Tyra Suite and she storms off as Mikey and Devin give half-assed apologies. Devin insists he’s not the bad person, pulling poor Nyle into this. Ava slams the door to the Tyra Suite.
Devin then goes to find Courtney, who is crying in the shower. Mikey says she’s telling lies upon lies. Uh, Mikey, you do realize it’s on video? Others agree she is not a victim and Ashley says they can’t baby her anymore. Nyle gets in the shower and comforts Courtney as Dustin says Nyle just doesn’t get what’s going on. But maybe he sees everything a bit more clearly? Courtney says she was glad Nyle came to talk to her and says she feels bad about hearing the others talk about her.

The next day, Dustin says someone is in their backyard. It ends up being Yu Tsai. And some giant building blocks. He says they have to remember the tips for hiding their flaws because their final photo will not be retouched. Mame says the pressure is on.
The models go to hair and makeup and Yu Tsai tells the creative team that there is no retouches. Devin and Ashley talk about Courtney as Ava tries to keep her from wallowing about being an outcast.
Mame is up first and she focuses on hiding her flaws as well as compensating for the braces on her teeth. Yu Tsai seems to love her. Justin is next and Erik tells him that his body is strong but his face is soft. Mikey follows him and while Yu Tsai ha some questions about his choices, finds they work. But Bello doesn’t impress Yu Tsai. He then calls Ashley a mini-Tyra Banks.
Ava is next and tries to ignore the stares of DMA. Yu Tsai gives her some tips before he goes to give Dustin some as well. But he’s not thrilled with Dustin once he’s back on set. He says that maybe Dustin is too young and Devin says he doesn’t take things seriously. Dustin seems to hit on it at the end.
Devin moves a few set pieces and Erik asks him what he needs to work on. Devin says it’s relaxing his eyebrow. Erik nods and seems impressed with Devin’s film. Courtney seems to struggle with posing on the set and she says the drama is getting to her. Yu Tsai calls her a car accident and asks her why she’s shaking as we go to…

Courtney continues to struggle and Devin relishes in it. He then mocks the fact that Courtney might have an eating disorder and maybe a few other things. She cries as she talks to the camera.
Yu Tsai praises Lacey for taking her notes and applying them. Nyle calls her a threat to the camera and Wonder Woman to her face. He then focuses on working his waist and angles. Yu Tsai warns him about his hands, calling them lazy hands. Hadassah says she wants to make herself more likeable. She is when she’s not in front of the camera. Yu Tsai likes her poses but says she needs to have more energy. She then says she doesn’t want to be in the bottom two.
Skull mail! Still no sign of pirates or anyone walking the plank. Mikey does a dance, saying someone is going home.
Lacey says she’s worried for Dustin and Justin offers to dress him for panel. Hadassah models a few outfits and Mame thinks she’s showing off her body for the wrong attention. Hadassah just wants to prove people wrong.

Panel! Tyra greets the models. There are prizes and then there are judges—Kelly Cutrone and J Alexander. Tyra says the week was about retouching and not needing it. Mame is up first. She says she needed to hide her crossbite. Miss J loves her hair but wanted more intensity in her body. Kelly and Tyra disagree, saying everything is insane. They love it. After the judges but in their scores, they admire Nyle’s waist. Tyra likes his twist but says he needs tension. Miss J says he keeps getting the same face from him. Tyra does a teach for him. Kelly says the energy is mid-level and no personality. He says if he does bring his personality, it’ll be amazing.
Lacey is next and Tyra compares her to Karlie Kloss. Tyra praises how she made herself tall and Kelly loves she’s modeling H2T. Justin follows and Kelly calls him a “bag of potatoes.” Tyra says he needs to convey weight and strength. The judges praise Hadassah’s look but not her face in the picture. Kelly doesn’t feel a model. Tyra says she needs some tension as well. Hadassah says she’s working on it. Tyra says Dustin’s shot has his strongest face but Miss J points out he lost his height and neck.
Tyra says his film was amazing and she says it’s frustrating because she doesn’t know which one to chose. She says he looks like a model and an athlete. Ashley is next. Tyra says her eyes are open and Kelly says her body is strong. When Courtney comes up, Tyra tells her to relax her hands. Tyra loves her face in her film. Kelly tells her to work on her personality in front of the judges. Tyra tells her to be fierce when she does everything.
Ava follows her. Tyra likes how she used the prop to make her leg look longer and Kelly says her photo would work with the others in a photoshoot. Kelly calls Bello “rock star” and that he’s current with looking so athletic. Tyra is impressed Mikey pulled back his hair. Tyra calls his shot “feminine but hot” but Kelly says she’s not a fan. Tyra says he needs to take chances because his film was boring. She tells him to change it up.
Tyra then dismisses the models so they can tally up their scores.

ELIMINATION! Best photo goes to…Lacey (8.6, 9.8, 9.8)! She is joined by: Mame (9.2, 10, 9.9), Devin (9.3, 10, 9.1), Mikey (7.9, 8.5, 8.3), Ashley (7.4, 9.3, 9.1), Bello (7.8, 9.9, 8.8), Nyle (6.8, 8.3, 8.8), Ava (6.7, 7.9, 7.9), Courtney (7.6, 8.9, 7.9) and Justin (7.6, 7.9, 7.9). That leaves Hadassah and Dustin in the bottom two, just like I predicted to myself. Either I’m getting really good or this cycle is really predictable. Hadassah: Proud that she took their note but she didn’t deliver in her photo. Dustin: Strong face but not looking like a model. So who can get better? Who gets to stay? Hadassah.
Tyra tells Dustin he’s loveable and he’s high fashion. He thanks her and hugs the others. Dustin talks about giving up prom and graduation but says he’s had an amazing opportunity. But he’s looking forward to smiling.

Mikey is starting to work on my last nerve and I find myself agreeing with Bello about the “Mean Girl clique.” But Bello needs to cool his own anger issues. Did they not do the psych exam this go around? Jeez, people.
Hadassah didn’t bug me this week. Mostly because she was hardly on. Yay!
Next week: Mikey and Mame! Halloween comes early? More arguing!
