Reopening Broadway (Now Slightly Earlier Than Expected!)

It seems the announcements of reopenings has slowed down as many musicals have set their return dates. I'll keep an eye out for any more announcements in the future but I think we're going to have the schedule set by the time summer officially begins at the end of June.

But recently one Tony-award winning musical announced that it would return almost two weeks earlier than the others! So check below to see when the earliest date Broadway will return is and which musical that is! (Hint: It'll be the one in bold).

The Broadway League and American Theatre Wing have announced that the delayed 74th Annual Tony Awards will now be held on Sunday, September 26th. The event will be four hours long, including the award ceremony and a concert to celebrate Broadway's return. However, most of the award ceremony will only be aired on Paramount+. Best Musical, Best Play and Best Revival of a Play will be the presented during the concert, which will air on CBS.

So I was pretty sure I was going to get Paramount+ but now I'm certain. There's no way I'm missing the Tony Awards!
