Top Model!
The contestants return to the house and pack up their stuff to go to Bali! Marvin’s excited to leave the country; Don says the stress of the competition is getting to him. Jourdan and Renee still think the other is her competition. Nina isn’t sure where her relationship with Chris H stands while he’s glad he wasn’t sent home as he has no home to go to. Because, you know, him mom threw him out when he turned 18. Everyone gets on the model mobile to head to the airport as we head to credits.

After the animated airplane flies by, the models arrive in Bali. Renee is excited and thinks she will bloom on the island because she is from an island. The models board the Bali Bus to head to their new home. Nina celebrates as she’ll have the Tyra suite. Everyone is impressed by how colorful Bali is and Jordan tells everyone not to make fun of her because she’s never been outside the US. She was sheltered. And so Cory does make fun of her in his talking head, saying Jordan gets excited about everything.
They arrive at Ayana Resort and Spa. Traditional dancers and musicians greet them as they receive leis and fruity drinks. Chris H. says this is his week for redemption while Marvin and Don are in paradise. Rob and Johnny greet them and then send them to investigate their new Bali home. Nina pretty much pushes everyone out of the way to go see her photo and then jumps on the bed in the Tyra suite. Jourdan is excited to see a pool. You had a pool in LA, Jourdan.
Marvin notes a little patio area which he says he and Renee can cuddle on at night. Because he thinks they are a couple. Renee has no clue what to call her relationship with Marvin. She says he’s nice and has a great body.
In the pool, the guys think it’ll be two guys and a girl in the final. And that the guys outnumber the girls right now, 5 to 3. Nina’s just floating around like “Enjoying the pool.” Then the guys start in on Chris H’s scores from the last panel, specifically Kelly giving him a nine. They said it was unfair and suspicious. That’s suspicious? Really, have you paid attention at judgment? Tyra and Rob pull scores out of their asses so many times but you fault Kelly for giving Chris H a high score because she liked the picture? Cory says Chris H should’ve gone home but Kelly saved him. Once again, Tyra and Rob do it ALL THE DAMN TIME.

The next day, the models board a boat and go out to meet Johnny on another boat. He introduces her to Carole Lacroix, who works for a swimwear company. They will be walking a runway under water, wearing helmets so they can breathe. But Don starts panicking once he hears it. Carole says the winner of the challenge will win a goodie bag. He sends them to wardrobe. Meanwhile, Nina tells Johnny that she had some of her lung was cut off and can’t go underneath too far. She had breathed in a bad fungus and it made her really sick. Johnny goes to look into it, I guess.
Twelve feet under the sea, Jourdan does her runway. Johnny is impressed. Renee goes down next. He loves her attitude. Executive producer Laura Fuest says the medical doctor believes there is a risk to Nina and that she can snorkel. Nina is upset she can’t do that challenge. Cory tries to comfort her while Chris H can’t handle the crying. Cory tells her to be strong and handle the situation. Nina thinks Chris doesn’t care about her.
Meanwhile, Don tries to give himself a pep talk as Chris H. goes down. Johnny seems impressed by what he does on the runway. He’s not too impressed by Marvin. Cory is after Marvin and Johnny doesn’t think he has a good body for a swimsuit. As Jeremy blows the runway, Renee and Marvin flirt on deck. And at last, Don gets into the water. He worries about the anxiety and Marvin tells him to breathe normally, that it’ll be okay. Marvin prays Don doesn’t have a panic attack. But Don makes the mistake of looking up and wants to go up. Johnny is surprised Don won’t do it as we go to…

Don returns to the surface as he has his panic attack. Jeremy says he’d hate to see him fail the challenge. Johnny goes to talk to Don and says he could snorkel like Nina because they consider him a medical case. Nina jumps in and decides to be fierce in the water. But Carole doesn’t like her. Don jumps in next but says he’s fatigued. Johnny is worried.
Marvin, Nina and Don were the weakest of the challenge. The strongest were Chris H, Jourdan and Renee. The winner…Renee. She jumps up and down. Jourdan is disappointed because she has the best runway walk but Renee keeps winning the runway challenges.
They go home and check out their scores. Don isn’t too worried about his five because there are others with six’s. Nina is one of them and she’s nervous. In bed, Jeremy gets to listen to Marvin’s pillow talk with Renee. And probably feels like all the viewers at home.
BALI! The Bali Bus brings them to the Bali Safari. Johnny greets them with an orangutan on his shoulder. It’s adorable. He announces the models get to pose with different animals. He sends them to hair and makeup. Cory loves that he is posing with an orangutan. The photographer loves him. Jourdan also poses with an orangutan. Johnny has to give her a lot of direction.
Nina says she gets to have her Britney Spears moment with the albino python. She knows she has to kill the shoot. The snake gives her problems and they tell her to manage it better. He’s worried about her. Don says her struggle hurts him as a friend but as a competitor is happy. Nina is upset as her photoshoot wraps. We go to…

Nina is upset as she returns backstage. Jourdan comforts her while Chris H is like “She’s crying again.” Cory tells her not to be sad because she doesn’t know how panel is going. He says he cares about her. Nina is upset Chris H. isn’t caring.
Don also poses with the snake. He’s worried about the snake so they tell him to hold everything. Johnny tells him to work on the neck. Renee worries about pairing with a jaguar. She is told not to do quick movements. But she still works when it counts though the photographer yells at her to stay in position. Johnny tells Jeremy he only has seconds to get his shot and Jeremy actually nails it.
Chris H. works with a macaw. One starts to chew on his hair as Johnny tells him to put more expression in his face. Marvin is next with the macaw. Johnny tells him not to let the makeup wear him and to be strong. Johnny isn’t impressed. He doesn’t want to go home.
Backstage, Renee praises Jeremy with jaguar. Marvin congratulates him on his best photo and Renee wonders why Marvin cares she praised Jeremy. They end up fighting. Cory tries to intervene and reminds them to be professional. But they steamroll over him and he gives up.
SKULL MAIL! No one is safe! Nina is really upset and worried.

At panel, Tyra greets them in Indonesian. There are judges—Kelly, Rob and Bryanboy. There are prizes. Renee is first and applauded for winning the challenge. Kelly says she looks like Jada Pinkett Smith. Rob thinks she does look flat but there’s a connection between her and the cub. Tyra thinks she looks stunning but there’s nothing there. Scores: 8, 8, 7. Cory is next. Kelly loves the shot but she doesn’t like his runway look. Rob thinks it looks comical but I think it’s the orangutan scratching itself, Rob. Tyra likes it and says he captured what she wanted. Scores: 9, 9, 6. Don owns up to his panic attack in the water. Rob and Kelly loves Don’s face but Kelly doesn’t like the body. Tyra also loves the face but the body loses the sleek lines. Scores: 7, 6, 9. Chris H is next. Kelly loves the shot (including bird noises) but Rob doesn’t like it. Bryanboy calls it “boring.” Rob doesn’t think there’s a connection and gets away with it because he has a model face. Tyra agrees with Rob. Scores: 9, 6, 6.
Nina follows. Kelly loves her shot. Rob doesn’t see a connection with the snake and Kelly asks how more she could interact. Tyra loves it. Social media loves her. Scores: 9, 10, 6. Kelly argues with Rob over his score. Jeremy follows. Kelly doesn’t like his shot but Rob does. Tyra doesn’t think it’s awful. She thinks he was playing with the makeup. Scores: 7, 7, 8. Next is Jourdan. Rob isn’t impressed and doesn’t recognize her. Tyra says it looks catalogue for her mother. Scores: 8, 6, 7. Marvin is last. Kelly doesn’t like it. She wonders if he can’t deliver on his personality. Rob thinks it looks too “draggy.” But Tyra likes his shot. Bryanboy and social media like his photo. Scores: 7, 8, 6. Tyra dismisses the contestants.

ELIMINATION! Best photo goes to…Nina. She is joined by: Renee, Jeremy, Cory, Jourdan, and Chris H. That leaves Marvin and Don in the bottom two. They step before Tyra. Marvin: Charisma and charm with beautiful photos but charm can only go so far. Don: “Street fine” but can be a model. But there are a few off weeks. So who stays? Marvin. Wow, that’s a surprise. He hugs Don and cries. Where’s the tissue box? Tyra tells him that he has to be strong every single photo.
Tyra hugs Don and he thanks her. She tells him to study his face and angles. He thanks the panel before hugging the others. He says he’s disappointed and thought he did better than Chris H. But he’s going to keep modeling and doing his music. And he’s rooting for Marvin.

Oh, Don. I actually at one point predicted you to take it all but now I’m leaning toward Cory. Though I think want to slap most of the competitors at this point. Anyone else feel the same?
