Wanna be on top?
We come back to find out who is re-entering the competition and gets to go to Jamaica! The girls go crazy. So who isn’t returning? Destiny, Darian, Yvonne, Jessie, Brittany and Allyssa. Leila gets to re-enter the competition. It was close but most of us knew she was coming back in. She promises not to let anyone down. Allyssa says it sucks as Tyra tells her she will make it. Laura is surprised and is scared because Leila is now her strongest competitor. She thanks Tyra, who makes her thank America. The girls don’t welcome her before they go to pack for Jamaica.
Everyone celebrates being final 6 and going to Jamaica. Laura talks about getting 3 best photos and 3 challenge wins. She knows she is the one to beat right now. Meanwhile, the girls are still dealing with Victoria throwing them under the bus and being called “bullies.” Laura thinks Victoria is the bully because she ignores the other girls. Victoria cries about being lonely and wishing she was with her mom. She promises to do well in Jamaica. Kristin still thinks Victoria is crazy. And she’s not thrilled Leila’s back because all America saw was pictures. Girl, you should be lucky. If we saw your attitude, chances are, you wouldn’t be final 6.
The girls go to Jamaica as we go to…

The plane flies down to Jamaica. We get some shots of the area. Kiara is excited and we get to see all of her siblings in a video. The girls get on the Jamaica Model Mobile complete with Jamaican men. Everyone is like “MEN!” One man reveals they are all models and Kiara is flirting hard. Kristin is embarrassed for Kiara.
The girls are staying at the Half Moon resort and a band greets them. As does Tyra. She says they are living there while in Jamaica, where she shot her first swimsuit calendar. Tyra then orders the music to play again. And everyone parties! Victoria says she’s just going to have fun and forget her worries. Meanwhile, Korey and Kiara continue to flirt as the party continues. The other male models don’t look into it.
Inside the villa, the girls find their own photos inside. And Laura is sleeping in a department store, judging from the layout of the Tyra Suite. Leila chooses to room with Kiara and Nastasia due to how she left things with Laura—IE calling her self-obsessed. At dinner, the male models explain it is Jamaica’s 50th anniversary since winning their independence from Britain. Tyra says female models are either smizers or toochers. Victoria is surprised to hear she is a toocher as she thought she was both (like Tyra says the top models are). Kiara thinks she’s a smizer, which Tyra and Korey agrees. Tyra leaves and sends the girls to their challenge.
Jonte is back. He’s still no Miss J. Or Benny Ninja. He introduces Konshens, a dance hall recording artist. Dancers come out to show them how to dance. Konshens tells the girls have to create their own dance while tooching and smizing. They are split into teams of 2. It’s Kristin and Laura, Nastasia and Kiara, Victoria and Leila. They go to practice with some of the girls from the dance team. Nastasia is a dancer and relishes the challenge. Victoria feels disadvantaged.

The girls change into costumes and continue to practice their routines. Victoria talks about being the underdog, but I think right now Leila is the underdog. Anyway, the girls come out and are surprised to see the male models there. Kristin and Laura go first. Kiara feels Laura let go while Kristin was self-conscious. Victoria and Leila go next. We get to see a picture of Victoria’s (in)famous mom. Konshens praises these two for having fun. Kiara and Nastasia are last. Victoria thinks they look intense. Konshens praises Leila and Victoria for fun, tooching and smizing. They got an 8. Laura and Kristin get a 7 out of 10. They are surprised and disappointed. Konshens says Kiara and Nastasia didn’t look like they were having fun but they had a good choreography. They get a 9, winning money and jewelry.
Back home, they look at their jewelry. Kiara knows the other girls are jealous but she’s going to win for her siblings.
In their room, Kristin and Laura talk about Kiara. Kristin calls her a slut as Laura says they have to do well in their photoshoot. They then go to talk about Leila in confessional. And it ain’t good. It actually smells of jealousy.

JAMAICA! The girls board the Jamaican Model Mobile for their photoshoot. Johnny and Rob come down a river by raft. Rob introduces William Richards, a Jamaican photographer. They will be telling the story of a woman caught in a love triangle between their husband (Rob) and their Jamaican raft guide. And who is in hair and makeup but their male models. Johnny comes to announce the girls get to choose their male models. Kiara goes straight to Korey, surprising…no one.
Victoria is up first and seriously needs to consider a career in romance writing. She can come up with characters. Wait, I’m trying to get a career in romance novels. Never mind, stick to modeling, Victoria! As Victoria’s shoot goes on, Kristin continues to talk smack about her. We then move to Laura’s shoot as Rob coaches her. Leila thinks Laura is unnerved by the fact she (Leila) returned. She is next and Johnny welcomes her back. Rob tells her not to hold back. She rocks her shoot. And Laura is frustrated.

Nastasia is the next model up when we come back. She gets really close to Rob, who also coaches her. Johnny praises her. Kristin is next. William gives her some instuctions and Johnny notes she still needs to let her go. He says he’s surprised she is still there. She needs a lot of coaching. Johnny hums the bridal march as she approaches and her dress does look like a wedding dress. Kiara says she forgot she was modeling because they were so hot. Victoria thinks Kiara is distracted by Korey. We cut back to Kristin and Laura in confessional who say Kiara needs to go home. Johnny notes Kiara’s chemistry with Korey but hopes it helps her photos.
Skull mail! Kristin makes a comment about the real “top five.” Leila talks about feeling pressure to do well since she came back. Victoria talks to her mother and says she’s feeling better. Maybe she needed a scenery change. She says she’s moving forward.

Time for panel! Everyone looks very Jamaican. There are judges—Kelly Cutrone, Rob Evans and Bryanboy. There is scoring. There are prizes. Tyra asks Leila how it feels to be back and she says great because she earned it. Nastasia is first and is noted to be one of the challenge winners. Kelly likes her photo. Bryanboy says Nastasia is popular online. Rob says she’s tooching but Tyra says it is a bit more hooch. Rob though praises her tooch. Rob gives her a 10, Kelly an 8 and Tyra a 7 for the hooch. Leila is next. Rob likes her body and face. Bryanboy says some fans were disappointed with the photo. Kelly calls it a beautiful shot but Tyra isn’t so sold. Kelly and Rob give her 8’s and Tyra a 6. Kiara is the other challenge winner. Kelly thinks it’s a still from a Broadway show. Rob calls her stiff. Tyra doesn’t like her face and says it doesn’t even look like her. Kelly and Tyra give her 6’s and Rob a 7.
Victoria is next and Kelly greets her. Tyra reveals that’s bad news. And if Kiara was from Broadway, she thinks Victoria’s is from Atlantic City. Rob says the face is lacking and says she’s overthinking everything with her characters. A comment talks about her looking like a girl playing dress up. Kelly and Rob give her 6’s and Tyra a 7. Tyra says she kinda likes the picture while Tyra calls the pose “lap dance.” Rob talks about her letting go. They make Kristin act like a fool and she does a lap around the studio. Tyra brings back the Cycle 4 meltdown as an example. Kelly gives her a 6, Rob a 7 and Tyra an 8. Kelly calls Laura “Rapunzel” but praises how she models the dress. Rob likes the shot and social media loves her as well. Tyra calls it “amazing.” Kelly gives her an 8, Rob and Tyra give her 9’s. The girls are dismissed.

ELIMINATION! Best photo goes to…Nastasia. She is joined by Laura, Leila, and Kristin. That leaves Kiara and Victoria in the bottom two. Victoria: Queen of the Story, can paint a picture but can’t deliver it. One of the strongest girls but is now struggling. Kiara: Social media doesn’t like her but the judges do. Tyra didn’t recognize her in the photo though. So who stays? Kiara. Tyra hands her a photo and she joins the others. Nastasia hugs her.
Victoria gets a hug and says she’s disappointed. Tyra praises her for her storytelling and tells her she can be a model. She then throws in about “taking care of herself first.” That’s curious given the girls’ fears. Victoria says she’s leaving with her head held high and as a role model for the quirky girls.

I must admit I’m surprised it was Victoria who went. She’s been on a downward spiral since the eating disorder accusation and even the show was over her. Of course, I still hold out hope every week Kristin will be shown the door because I don’t like her. I did like the photoshoot this week but good grief if they don’t keep shoehorning Rob into them. We get it, you got a male model, blah blah. But at least he can see some of the problems on the shoots as apparently Tyra isn’t talking to Johnny. At least she used to read some of Mr. Jay’s comments in past cycles. Oh well.
