The models return home to look at Keith’s photo on the screen. Matthew makes a joke about looking at “manaconda” all week. “Manaconda” is the nickname Tyra gave to Ketih’s…er…package. Denzel is jealous and talks about losing his father as an infant. He says his grandfather and godfather were his role models. He wants to see an alpha male.
Kari continues to stay with Keith in the Tyra Suite. And they will get treats at the next photoshoot. As they climb into bed, Kari talks about having walls up that Keith is going to have to work to bring down.
Mirjana and Matthew talk and she says she needs her space. He’s chilly to her. Downstairs, Mirjana seems to move on to Denzel because he can make her laugh. Will, meanwhile, is annoyed by Mirjana. Matthew watches as she flirts with Denzel.
Time to jump into the pool! And pop champagne. And have fun! Unless you’re Romeo, who thinks they aren’t treating it as a competition. Instead, he practices his witchcraft. He asks the producers for supplies for voodoo dolls. That has to be a warning somewhere.
Time for the new credits! Eh…I felt it’s been more artistic in the past. This was just here’s all the people!
Wanna be on top?
LA! The model mobile takes the models to meet with Yu Tsai. He explains that they will take a photograph that is an optical illusion. He introduces them to their photographer An Le. In hair and makeup, Adam can’t stand Romeo.
Keith goes first and says it’s more intense than football training. But he impresses Yu Tsai. Lenox impresses Ben and Yu Tsai. Ben is next and wants to break from the middle of the pack. Yu Tsai sounds like he did. We then learn Adam is tiny. That’s it. Chantelle thinks Raelia is too sexy. She then tells Yu Tsai she’s feeling confident. He reminds her of the fine line between confidence and arrogance. Romeo thinks she’s just arrogant.
Meanwhile, Keith and Kari get pampered at the shoot. And share chocolate strawberries.
Kari seems to struggle in the photoshoot. It’s all going so fast. Shei seems to impress him. Meanwhile, Denzel and Mirjana continue to flirt and everyone thinks there’s a triangle with Matthew. Will goes to check in with Matthew, who explains he’s just getting into his mindset. Matthew confesses that nothing with Mirjana can be taken seriously because of her boyfriend.
Denzel than hits the set. Yu Tsai tells him to smize but Denzel gets frustrated with himself. And Yu Tsai is frustrated. He tells him that it’s easier to train his dog and Denzel gets mad. He storms off cursing as we go to…

LA! Denzel lets off some steam backstage. And gets a hug from Mirjana. Will looks like he’s going to throw up. Not in the clothes, dear. Will is a Matthew fan. But he struggles with his shoot and thinks Mirjana might be effecting him. Once he gets over her, he seems to do better. Yu Tsai says Mirjana wasn’t listening to him. Will seems to nail his shoot and Matthew thinks he’s competition. They have to tape Romeo’s shoes and Adam compares him to a pregnant penguin. Everyone watches him struggle.

At home, they get a present. Will opens it and announces their makeovers. Everyone freaks out. Tyra sends them on a scavenger hunt for magic shears to learn their makeovers. Denzel finds them and is getting a beard weave. He’s excited because he can’t grow a beard. As people announce different hair styles, Chantelle admits she’s scared. She goes upstairs and Lenox follows her to see what’s wrong. Chantelle says she doesn’t want her hair touched.
I smell another hairgate approaching.

The model mobile takes them to the hair salon for their “Ty Overs.” Kristophe welcomes them and Cory’s back to talk about how he hated his makeover at first. But now he loves it! Tyra talks about Denzel’s beard weave. As for the others:
Ben and Adam: Buzz cut
Will: Pompadou
Kari and Romeo: Platinum hair. Romeo is also getting gray contacts.
Keith: Nothing.
Mirjana: Bob
Shei: Black and white
Chantelle: Long weave but dipped blonde dips.
Tyra tells them that they are going to be taking a DNA test from Ancestry.com to learn about where they come from. I’ve been considering taking that exam. Just to see. I know Greek and Irish. There’s possible for Turk just from where my grandfather’s family came from…Back to the show.
Adam’s sad to part with his hair but he likes his new look. He and Ben do work buzzed well. Uh, what did they do to Matthew? Looks like just a little styling. Meanwhile, Ms. J hands them a phone to call home and show someone their makeover. Adam goes to show his parents his hair. They like his cut. Aww, Adam loves his mother. So does Matthew.
Mirjana loves her short hair. It does look good. Will’s new look works for him. Matthew tells Will he looks like a model. And he’s confident in his sexuality to admit that Will is good-looking. Will might have a crush on Matthew. Kari is shocked by her makeover and starts crying. Yu Tsai says Keith got off easy and Keith does seem a bit disappointed. Then Yu Tsai talks to Denzel about how he walked off set. Denzel apologizes but it doesn’t sound sincere. Everyone goes to check out his bear. It’s an interesting look. I think it might need to grow on me.
Ms. J declares Chantelle’s hair the best weave in ANTM history. Romeo reminds Chantelle about the line between confidence and arrogance but Will says she didn’t sound arrogant. Romeo says he needs to cast a spell on Chantelle to shut her mouth. Charming. He then goes on about his own makeover. Lenox gets dark and blunt while Raelia gets big and curly. Shei seems to rock the Cruella de Vil.
Lenox cries as she talks to her mother and Denzel’s mother is surprised by the beard. Anyway, Kari is still not happy with her hair and she might be the one who has this cycle’s hairgate. She might.

Back at the salon, everyone tries to comfort Kari. She goes to the bathroom and says she looks cheap. Ms. J goes to give her a pep talk. She says she needs to be strong and accept it.
Everyone goes home and has some booze. Kari is still not happy with her look. Keith tries to support her. I wouldn’t call her a stripper, Keith. Even if you like them.
There’s a wild party in the Top Model kitchen. Meanwhile, Denzel and Mirjana hop in the shower together. Matthew makes a bad joke and hugs will. Go home, Matthew, you’re drunk.
The next morning, everyone is hung over. And apparently, Matthew kissed Will. Mirjana asks if he’s gay and Matthew says he is what he is. Mirjana thinks he’s not willing to admit he’s bi. He says he’s into girls but he can admit Will is beautiful. Matthew says in confessional he doesn’t like labels. And Will is upset that people are interrogating Matthew about his sexuality because of what he went through. He lets them know it too. After, Matthew says he got to make out with the prettiest girl in the house. Will takes it as a compliment.
SKULL MAIL! Someone is going home! Chantelle thinks she will stay! Romeo thinks everyone else isn’t in the competition for the right reason! Kari hopes she didn’t have to go through that makeover for nothing!

LA! Tyra welcomes the models to panel. There are judges: Kelly, Ms. J and Ms. J’s hair. There are prizes! Matthew is up first. Kelly thinks it looks circusy but Ms. J likes it. One viewer thinks he’s so attracted. Scores (Ms. J, Tyra, Kelly): 8, 8, 7. Tyra loves Shei’s Cruelle de Vil. She does rock it. Tyra doesn’t think it’s good. Scores: 7, 6, 7. Will follows. Kelly loves it but Tyra says he looks like he’s three months pregnant. Scores: 9, 9, 7. Tyra says Denzel’s beard is not the shape she wanted. She and Ms. J aren’t thrilled. Tyra gives him some advice. Tyra and Kelly think it looks better in the original. Scores: 7, 8, 7.
Mirjana is next. Kelly likes her shot, social media not so much. Tyra says she looks sleepy. Scores: 7, 8, 8. Ben is next. Ms. J and Tyra loves his shot. Kelly thinks he brought something extra. Tyra points out his face to Mirjana. Scores: 9, 9, 8. Chantelle is next. Ms. J is not thrilled while Tyra says nothing is there in her face. Chantelle realizes that. Kelly tells her she needs to know her angles and have energy. Scores: 7, 7, 6. Raelia follows. Kelly says she was given great proportions and Tyra likes the length. Scores: 7, 9, 9. Kelly says Adam looks like a worker on break. Tyra thinks it’s a hot picture but he needs to think length. Scores: 7, 8, 6.
Lenox is next. Kelly thinks she looks like an electrocuted ballerina but it works. Tyra likes how fierce she is. Scores: 8, 10, 8. Keith is in a suit. Tyra says he looks like he’s going to meet the parents. She tells him to wear a t-shirt and jeans. Kelly doesn’t like the shot but Tyra does. Scores: 8, 9, 7. Romeo then goes. Tyra likes Romeo shot but wanted more in his photo. He can’t read the message due to his contacts. Scores: 8, 8, 8. Kari admits she was feeling better and that her hair is growing on her. Kelly doesn’t like her shot. Social media wants more neck. Scores: 6, 7, 7. Tyra dismisses the models to add up the scores, saying social media is big because of no challenge this week.
COMMERCIALS!
ELIMINATION! The first person is…Ben. He is joined by: Lenox, Will, Raelia, Keith, Matthew, Mirjana, Romeo, Denzel, Shei, and Adam. That leaves Kari and Chantelle in the final two. Chantelle: Beautiful but beauty being thrown away. Kari: Photo was not stellar. She should know not to lose the neck. So who stays? Kari. Okay, who in production gave Romeo the materials for his voodoo dolls? Who?
Kari joins the others and Tyra says she’s disappointed that Chantelle is eliminated. Tyra tells her to prove she has something special and come back. Chantelle says she’s surprised to leave so early. She hopes she can get back in. And then she goes off to the rubber room to join Ivy.

This is getting creepy. I know the editors must be eating this up but has Tyra been watching the live feeds? “Oh, Romeo says Chantelle must go. We’re going to have to cut Chantelle. We must keep up this narrative!”
Anyway, I think this might be the best batch of makeovers in a long time. Even with Kari being the latest victim to Tyra’s fascination with platinum blonde dye jobs. And Shei supporting the Cruella de Vil. But I swear it works on her. It’s weird. Anyway, they are going to need to disinfect that house when everyone heads overseas.
I also have money on Matthew and Will being the most stable couple coming out of this competition. Who’s with me?
