Two weeks ago on “ANTM:” Everybody hated Chris! Marvin and Renee became Marnee! Everyone posed in a rice patty! Then they went to go visit elephants! At panel, Jourdan rose to the top while Nina, Jeremy and Chris H fell into the bottom. In a double elimination, Nina and Jeremy were sent packing. Five contestants remain, who will be eliminated tonight? Find out!
Top Model!
Everyone goes home to see Jourdan’s photo. Renee thinks her picture was better and she’s going to beat Jourdan. Jourdan meanwhile is scared because of Nina’s elimination after being in the top. She then invites Cory to join her in the Tyra Suite. Cory says he’s surprised but thinks its because they were both close to Nina. She says Nina was her friend while Renee is more like a sister as they can be friends one minute, enemies the next. Meanwhile, Renee says Nina and Jeremy did not deserve to go home. Chris H realizes she means he should’ve gone home. And Jourdan and Cory agree. Marvin seems to be ignoring the whole conversation. Renee says that there is a special place in hell for him. What. The. Hell? Chris insists he was friends with Nina but Cory says he was acting and Nina was bogged down by his crap. All she had to do was walk away. She was the one who let herself care about his crap. As Cory explodes at Chris, Chris explodes at all of them.
Wanna be on top?
Jourdan says Chris is playing a victim. Actually, Jourdan, he is kind of a victim. He goes out to talk to Marvin who is like “Leave me out of this.” He says he’s emotionally drained. Marvin says people will attack each other because it’s the final five. Chris H admits that being attacked sends him back to his childhood with his emotionally abusive mother. Marvin is still like “Stop talking to me.” Jourdan thinks the stress is hurting Chris H.
TYRA MAIL! “Only the strong will smize.” They all think it is a workout challenge.
Marvin and Renee wake up in bed and talk about children…I think it’s a bit early, you two. Renee says she’s there to win it for her grandmother who died from cancer.
Anyway, the models go down a million stairs to a beach where Rob greets them. Laura from Cycle 19 is there. Jourdan says she’s an inspiring person because…wait for it…she won America’s Next Top Model. Anyway, they are having a workout challenge. It will finish with them sprinting up the stairs. Will they play the Rocky theme song when they do it? They boys go first with the Jab-Jump-Pose. Marvin wins. The girls go next. Renee wins. The boys then jump rope. Cory wins. The girls are next. Renee wins again. Now it’s time for the Run to the Top. The girls go first this time. Renee takes off first and then Jourdan. Renee tires and Jourdan keeps going. But Renee is pushed on to beat Jourdan. Laura waits at the top to greet the winner…Laura. Jourdan tries to get to the finish line but gets sick. They have to call a medic as we go to…

The medic shows up as Jourdan says she can’t believe. Renee thinks she’s being overdramatic. But as a former runner, I can tell you running in the heat can prove dangerous and it doesn’t look like they were taking water in between events. At the bottom, Marvin takes off and then Cory and then Chris H. Cory starts to catch up to Marvin but he still crosses first and grabs the medal from Laura. Cory is only steps behind them. Chris H. crosses.
Laura says Renee and Marvin win the chance to be in the models workout video with Rob and Laura. And they get to go to a spa treatment at the resort. They are dismissed.
At home, they see their challenge scores. They are close with Chris H at the bottom with 8. Meanwhile, Marnee goes to the spa. He’s hoping for some romantic time with Renee. She’s worried that if she was in a relationship she wouldn’t focus on the competition. Marvin jokes around and enjoys his time with Renee. There’s a producer somewhere with his or her fingers crossed hoping for some sex. But instead we go to…

TYRA MAIL! “By now you should get your shot right off the bat.” Cory thinks it means they will only have one shot. Scared, everyone goes to bed.
And porno music starts to play and Chris H says it is keeping him up at night. He says he’s jealous but hopeful that it will distract them from winning.
In the morning, Cory and Jourdan think Marvin got lucky. Cory is missing his boyfriend and so goes to Skype with him. Cory says he’s proud of himself. He says he proves you can be a queen and still be America’s Next Top Model.
BALI! The model mobile takes them to a temple. Jourdan says she hears some squealing like a baby pig but instead it’s a bunch of bats. Johnny says they will be posing with the bats. Marvin says that he’s scared of bats because of the rats in his house. The bats look like the rats and as a New Yorker, I can tell you our rats are HUGE. Anyway, the models will be hanging upside down as Jez Smith takes their photos. Jourdan talks about being from a small town and how she has to win. Chris H. talks with the makeup people and says he needs best photo. Cory says they all have to do well so Chris H. goes home. Jourdan wants to see what happens to Marnee as the competition goes in. But they seem to glowing with love.
Marvin goes first. He still doesn’t like bats. But he doesn’t show it in front of the camera. And he does some “Cory” poses, saying androgyny isn’t so bad. Jez is impressed. Jourdan goes next. The bats squeal and Jez tells her to open her eyes, to relax. But she finds her angles and Jez seems impressed. Renee follows her. And I’m not sure how she’s holding that position. While Jez is impressed, Renee says the blood is rushing to her head. Jez notes that she’s done the same pose a few times. Marvin notes she is struggling. Johnny notes she isn’t listening to directions. And she passes out. That medic is getting his money’s worth this episode as we go to…
COMMERCIALS!
They right Renee and escort her off set. The medics are certain she is fine as Chris decides she’s being overdramatic. Marvin cuddles his girl as Chris H. goes to set. Johnny asks for more impression and Chris H. says he’s posing like a bat. But Johnny thinks he’s just hanging there. Jez asks them to bring Chris down so Johnny can give more direction. Jez tells him to remember he is a fashion model. And then Chris starts giving them what they want. Everyone is pissed off. Cory is last and is worried. Jez tells Cory not to get too feminine. He hopes to find a balance between the masculine and feminine. Johnny and Jez are impressed by the difficult positions he hits.
They go home and Renee talks to Cory and Marvin. Cory tells her not to beat herself up for getting sick. They are nervous as skull mail appears. They notice the mail doesn’t reveal how many people are staying and worry it’s another double elimination. Cory wants Chris H to go home and Chris H fears it may be a possibility. Marvin is worried one of them might go home.
COMMERCIALS!
Tyra welcomes them to panel and notes that Jourdan is wearing a similar outfit to hers. There are judges—Kelly, Rob and Bryanboy. There are prizes. Tyra notes that it will be a difficult week, suggesting a double elimination. Jourdan is first. Kelly loves it except one of her hands. Rob likes how awkward she looks yet high fashion at the same time. Tyra loves the upside down tooch. Scores: 9, 9, 10. Cory is next. Kelly loves how high fashion his hands and think it is head to toe. But Rob thinks it is too feminine and is brainwashed by Kelly and Tyra. Tyra objects to brainwash and Kelly says it depends on the brand. Cory says he loves androgyny. Tyra says his career will be filled with polarity and she loves his photo. Social media slipped and someone delivers her critique upside down. Tyra likes it. Scores: 8, 10, 6. Renee is next. Rob likes it except her lips. Kelly doesn’t like it. And Tyra thinks she is better than the photo and it’s more Week 1 than Week Whatever. Scores: 7, 7, 7.
Chris H. follows. Neither Rob nor Kelly like it. Tyra likes his face. Social media does like it. Scores: 7, 8, 8. Marvin is last. Kelly thinks he looks like the “Chief Bat” who can turn into a hot man. Bryanboy thinks he has the same face but Tyra falls off his chair saying his face is so good. Scores: 9, 9, 9. Time for the calculations to be done. And there will be a double elimination.

ELIMINATION! Next week is the finale! Best photo goes to…Jourdan. Tyra gives her orange beads and calls it Sunrise Smize. She is joined by Marvin. He gets blue beads and Tyra calls it Booch Blue. Chris H, Cory and Renee come to stand before Tyra. Chris H: All the potential, started strong but grew weaker as the competition went on. Stood in his own way. Cory: Beautiful and androgynous. Created polarity. Is he before his time? Renee: Beautiful and strong. Struggles with her photos. Too late to learn how to work her face for this game. The first person eliminated is…Renee. Sorry, Marnee! Renee hugs Tyra and she tells her to learn how to work her face. Renee says goodbye to Marvin and admits she is heartbroken but doesn’t have any regrets. And that she’ll miss Marvin. And she wants him to win.
So now it’s down to Chris and Cory. Who gets to be a finalist? Cory. Chris H. is eliminated. Tyra says he will make the world ready for him. He gets red beads and she calls them Fierce Fuschia. He goes to stand with the finalists as Tyra hugs Chris H. He thanks her for the opportunity and apologizes for letting her down. She says he let himself down and he is the one in control. Chris H. admits he was in his head and he might put modeling on the backburner. He’s not in a good place. The finalists celebrate as the episode ends.

There are our final three! I personally think a boy will take it all, much like the Americans vs. Brits season. And my money’s on Cory, honestly. I think he has the best story arch so far. But it could also be Marvin. He has the perfect tag line: “I was a janitor’s son but now I’m America’s Next Top Model!” What do you think? Vote in my poll –>
