Wanna be on top?
The girls go home and the Brits are glad to see an American girl go home. They happily remove an American flag side. Laura was first photo so team USA gets more clothes. The Brits are like “Oh, that’s okay.” Especially as they are planning a prank on the Americans that night. Throwing little balls of paper at them. Seymone is not happy. I’d be “What the hell is this devilry?” and roll over to sleep.
Seymone though flips out. Was their physical contact? Isn’t that not allowed? Annaliese thinks that Seymone is taking all her frustrations out on them. And she is the only American girl to be down there.

The British girls practice smizing as Annaliese explains she grew up in the ghetto and is dyslexic. Then Tyra herself shows up to the house and is swarmed. Tyra makes them walk and tell her about themselves. Then she wants to see their bedrooms before taking them downstairs for a supermodel lesson. Tyra talks about interviews where she makes journalists sound quite idiotic. And then she starts going on about her novel “Modelland” and super powers. So she gives them capes as she becomes Super Smize.

Than she says that Supermodels wants to become Super Moguls and brags about graduating from Harvard. And marketing…leadership…strategy. She tells them to watch their money—good advice, actually. Sophie says she takes note of what Tyra says. I’m still boggled that Tyra is a published author. I really am.
She sends them to go see Kelly Cutrone. In a warehouse. She tells them their challenge is to create a campaign for a British website called very.com. The Brits are against the Americans but shooting individually. They have to do everything about the shoot. They get Virgin mobile phones. I thought they took away phones because of drama? The Americans make AzMarie leader while I think Annaliese takes over the Brit team. Kelly calls out Annaliese’s leadership as she helps the team.

We come back to Annaliese talking props with their prop team. Kelly talks about the mistakes they are making. The girls go to Universal Studios to get their props. Alisha and Catherine go for the Brits while Kyle and Laura go for the Americans. Alisha and Catherine try to contact Annaliese but she didn’t reply. At casting, Seymone and Candace go for the US while Sophie and Ashley (the Dream Team as I call them) go for the UK. AzMarie helps confirm their male model. Meanwhile, Kelly talks to AzMarie, who is more receptive than the UK team.
Back at the house, the Americans put together their campaign as do the UK team. Alisha thinks she should’ve been team leader as they work together.

LA! Kelly and Mr. Jay meet with the models regarding their photoshoot. The male models come over. AzMarie reminds the girls to use the “powers” Tyra gave them. Candace is up first. Mr. Jay isn’t too thrilled with her. Seymone goes next as Kelly talks to Kyle about punk rock. She starts jumping and Mr. Jay likes it. Laura also rocks it. Eboni is reminded to sell the clothes, not the body. Mr. Jay loves AzMarie.
The UK team is up next. Annaliese is running around confused. Apparently everyone thought Louise was the team leader as she had to step up. As Ashley steps up, Mr. Jay asks her if they know what they are doing. She’s like “kinda.” But Ashley and Sophie impress the photographer. Alisha isn’t too thrilled with Annaliese’s direction as she steps in front of the camera with the male model. After Catherine’s good shoot, Annaliese goes up. Mr. Jay isn’t too thrilled with her. She tries jumping and needs to take lessons from Kyle. Kelly tells Louise not to run through sets and she talks back. Her attitude doesn’t impress Kelly. Louise takes her pictures.
That’s a wrap! Mr. Jay praises her for pulling it together. She threatens to walk if she’s in the bottom two. Meanwhile, the girls start to pick their pictures.

We go straight to panel. There are judges Nigel and Kelly. The guest judge is Cat Deely, model and host of “So You Think You Can Dance.” There are prizes. The UK team is first, starting with Annaliese. She admits she wasn’t a great leader. Kelly says that she respects her dedication. Tyra finds it catalogue-y. Sophie is next. Cat wonders if she had a crash mat while Tyra compares her to Twiggy. Next is Catherine. Tyra and Kelly love her eyes. Ashley is next and Nigel doesn’t like her pose. Tyra likes her skin. Nigel wonders why Alisha chose a shot where her legs were cut off. Kelly doesn’t like her picture as she looked great on set. Louise is last. Nigel calls her mean and she scoffs. Kelly and Nigel tell her to have some charm. Louise tells Kelly she was rude to her. Tyra thinks she has a problem with authority. Cat agrees and Louise storms off. The Brits try to stop her but she continues. She ask to go home and threatens Kelly.
COMMERCIALS!
LA! Louise is still demanding to go home. She says she is losing herself. Back in panel, Tyra reveals that Louise has left the competition. She tells them that they think their criticism is constructive but tough.
USA team up! They love AzMarie’s shot and Kelly praises her leadership. Everyone loves Kyle’s shot. They tell Seymone they aren’t too sure about their pose. Nigel wants a bit more of Laura’s face but Cat and Kelly love it. Eboni is next. Tyra tells her to be happy and bright. Candace is last and Kelly doesn’t like her picture. Nigel calls it “cheesy” and Candace admits to overthinking it. There will still be an elimination.

Nigel loves Annaliese’s personality but needs to pose better. Cat loves Sophie. Tyra wants Catherine’s dress. Not too thrilled with Alisha or Ashley’s shot. They loved Louise’s shot but never got to tell her. They mostly praise the Americans until they get to Eboni and Candace. ELIMINATION! First photo goes to AzMarie. She is joined by Sophie, Laura, Kyle, Catherine, Seymone, Annaliese, and (Louise). There is a final four but all are safe. They can take critique and have potential. There is a group hug.
Louise says she is proud to walk away because she won’t stand there and have someone rip her down.

Wow. I was not expecting that and I am surprised they didn’t tease that panel more! I also wonder if they edited the makeovers last week to prepare for the problems with Louise this week. I’m not sure how I feel about Kelly’s behavior on set. Everyone has different work styles and the models are going to have to deal with them. Were both women rude? Yes. But we all have to deal with rude people every day. And while we wish we could speak our mind like Louise did, we all know that it’s the quickest way to get fired or at least get a citation on our records. It appeared that Louise couldn’t take critiques well, but she did mention having an agency last week.
Otherwise, I think the Americans definitely had more coordination than the Brits. But the Brits photoshoots went better than the Americans. I thought their pictures were better.
