Meanwhile, the UK models call shenanigans. Sophie thinks the Brits did better in the photoshoot. She explains to make it big in America is the goal in fashion. Mariah talks about being Native American and calls back to the massacres of the colonization era.
Then there is a fake news segment which the girls think is real. And I’m talking about the Brits. They think they are getting all their hair cut off and getting really weird colors. Mariah is worried about getting short hair due to her culture. And HONEST TO GOD a Brit contestant says she doesn’t think they have Native Americans in England or they may be on the lowdown. HONEST TO GOD! I hope she means her own native people, but what is considered “native” in England? Saxxons? Normans? Celts?
Anyway, we have credits and COMMERCIALS.
The wannabes go to Sally Hershberger’s salon where they meet the Jays. Laura says Sally charges $850 for a haircut. I get mine done for less than $20. Sally comes out to start the makeovers.

AzMarie gets ANTM shaved into her head. And then starts to wash the other girls’ hair. Mariah admits to having a crush on AzMarie despite being straight. Louise doesn’t liker her cut but in confessional admits to a LEGIT concern: Louise has an agency and they don’t like her changing her hair. But they cut it as AzMarie continues to give hair massages. Catherine goes magenta while Annaliese gets a giant Scary Spice afro. Ashley looks beautiful. Mariah is happy to still have enough hair to do ceremonial braids back home. I kinda like Sophie’s hair as pink.
Eboni gets burned by a curling iron and gets a bit teary. Meanwhile, Louise still refuses to go dark…Anyone else think she now looks like Keira Knightley? But she still refuses to go dark as we see pictures from Britain’s Next Top Model to show she was once a brunette and she looks better that way.

We come back to AzMarie and Sophie dancing around. Sophie loves her hair do. And Louise Knightley is still arguing. Louise, I give you the case study of Cassandra from Cycle 5. But she didn’t actually go very darker. And then she likes it. Oy.
Back home, the Brits think they need to be more competitive and form a strategy. Eboni also realizes she has to set herself apart as the Brits comment that she has the same look as Kyle and Mariah. Sophie says that means one of them has to go home.
Downstairs, the girls are forced to eat food from the other country. What are they feeding the Brits? Because Sophie thinks it is awful…Oh, wait, I think that’s pulled pork. They complain and turn up their noses, but the American girls just barrel through. They try to tell Seymone what Haggis is, but clearly England doesn’t have eating competitions.
The Americans tease Seymone about eating the Haggis. Candace especially but Seymone is actually feeling sick. Candace and Eboni don’t think why she is taking it so bad. Umm, she’s the plus sized model and probably has heard these jokes SO MANY TIMES OVER. She’s probably sick of them. Sophie enjoys it, thinking the Americans are going to take each other out.

TYRA MAIL! “Tomorrow’s Koncept will have you feeling like a kid again.” They think children are involved and Ashley is optimistic as most kids like her.
Mr. Jay introduces the girls to the “ultimate” momager—Kris Jenner. Everyone goes insane…The Brits like the Kardashians? Anyway Kris says they are going to be her toddlers. Mr. Jay says it’ll be the Kardashians meets The Addams Family. Their photographer is Douglas Friedman. The girls then go to hair and makeup where they meet Kendall and Kylie Jenner, dressed as Ashley. Seymone and Annaliese ask the girls what it’s like to be a Kardashian. They say it’s amazing as there is always ten people there for them. Sophie and Ashley provide color commentary and it is awesome. Throw Bianca and Laura back in there and it’ll be legendary!
Kyle and Mariah are next. Mariah is warned not to go too sexy. Mr. Jay explains there is a difference between awkward that looks good and awkward that looks awkward. Laura, Sophie and Catherine pose together. Sophie seems to like Laura. Eboni and Candace pose and Ashley and Sophie mock Candace’s face. Ashley and AzMarie is up next and is worried about doing bad again. I don’t want her to go home. She and Sophie are amazing! Mr. Jay is surprised by AzMarie’s poor performance. Louise and Alisha eat some baby food. Louise says she’s star struck.

Skull and crossbones. Someone’s going home. The girls are nervous. Mariah thinks it might be an American going home. Why is she still wearing the “Don’t want to show the makeover” rag? The Brits are worried as well and continue talking about tearing down the Americans.

We go to panel. There are judges: Nigel and Kelly. Kris Jenner is the guest judge. There are prizes. First up is AzMarie and Ashley. Ashley says she was star struck. Kelly loves Ashley but not AzMarie. Nigel agrees. Mariah and Kyle are next. Kris loved Mariah’s facial expression and energy on set. Tyra doesn’t like either pose though. Neither does Kelly. Catherine, Laura and Sophie follow. Nigel loves the shot. He reminds Sophie to model H2T. Kris loves Laura’s pose. Tyra loves Catherine’s elegance but wanted her to stand out more. Next is Candace and Eboni. Nigel says he goes straight to Eboni. Tyra gives her props for modeling after getting burned.
Seymone and Annaliese are next. Annaliese uses a Brit slang word that Nigel begs Americans not to pick up. Don’t worry, I don’t think we will. Kelly doesn’t like the shot. Tyra tells Seymone to work her angles. Last is Louise and Alisha. Tyra praises Louise’s picture. Kris was impressed they ate the baby food. Kelly calls Louise too sexy. Alisha talks about her face and Tyra says there is a difference between what is in your head and what is on your face.

Deliberations! Kelly likes Mariah’s look but Tyra thinks her pose is too sexy. Kyle is a bit too stiff. They aren’t too sure what AzMarie is doing. Kris loved Ashley and Kelly loves her shot. Nigel calls Catherine “quirky” and loves Laura’s pose. So does Kelly. Sophie pops in person. Tyra loves Eboni’s face. Not sure about Candace. Tyra is so-so about Seymone. Kris says Annaliese was better close up. Nigel thinks Louise lacks charm and Alisha was misguided.
COMMERCIALS!
ELIMINATION! The first photo goes to Laura. She is joined by: Ashley, Eboni, Catherine, Candace, Kyle, Sophie, Annaliese, Louise, Alisha—all Brits are now safe—and AzMarie. That leaves Mariah and Seymone in the bottom two. Mariah: Photo was nice but not enough. She needs something extra. Seymone: Beautiful girl, had best photo. Last week may have been a fluke. Who stays? Seymone’s personality. She hugs Mariah. Tyra tells her that her personality makes her memorable. She has to prove last week wasn’t a fluke.
Tyra then hugs Mariah. She tells her that she will be a model, but she needs spice. Mariah gives everyone a hug. She says she’s disappointed but she’s happy she made it this far. She plans to be a supermodel.

Oh my goodness, I think I love Sophie and Ashley even more. I am upset my only American favorite left the show, but I think Eboni is growing on me. I did not like Louise at makeovers, even if she may have had a legitimate reservation. She was just so belligerent and then didn’t take too well to any compliments to it. Anyway, we saw some of the girls interacting with each other more. I hope it continues.
Next week: A fight! Kelly pisses wannabes off! The girls go home to see Seymone’s picture and a giant present marked with “USA.” There are clothes in it. The American models feel more confident.
