Find out!
Devin goes back to the house to celebrate his best shot. Everyone gathers into the Tyra Suite to see Tyra’s video. She gives him a tytytip about his strengths and weaknesses. Meanwhile, Bello still hates Devin.
There’s Team DMA—Devin, Mikey, and Ashley. Devin says Ashley and Mikey like each other. Ashley confirms it…as does them getting pretty cuddly in the confessional…and the tub.
TYRA MAIL! “A hero never gives up.” Hadassash thinks it means acting. She says she can’t worry about what everyone thinks of her. You might want to care a bit. Hadassah revealed she was in a school play as Sandy in Grease. There’s something about Devin being a scarecrow, so she dressed as one with Bello of course playing along as Dorothy. Devin reveals he doesn’t like Hadassah and he confronts her. He says she doesn’t have any friends and that she acts like she’s better than anybody. She says she never announced it because she would never say that…even if it was true. You just proved Devin’s point. Brava. Devin says she’s a pageant girl and not a model as we cut to…CREDITS!
Wanna be on top?
Devin and Hadassah are still arguing when we come back. She says no one knows her story, revealing she had a nanny because she never saw her father. Bello knows what happens when you put thirteen people in one house.
The next morning, Stefano is still down over being in the bottom two. He tells Devin that breaking eye contact is a sign of weakness. I’m starting to think Yu Tsai and Kelly were right about this being the crazy cycle. Wow.
Speaking of Yu Tsai, he greets them in the middle of the desert. And he is surrounded by army tanks. He introduces them to two heroes, soldiers injured in the Middle East. Melissa Stockwell and Alex Minsky tell the models their stories. Ashley gets emotional and says their stories remind her of her story. Nyle also finds a connection with them. Melissa and Alex will be posing with our models for this week’s shoot.
Nyle uses his text-to-speech to have a conversation with Alex. He says he is disabled and lonely because he can’t use ASL. He says he doesn’t want to be invisible.
Joe Zee shows up to help with the photoshoot. Isn’t he one of the cohosts of Tyra’s new show? And Erik Asla is back. Devin is up first and Yu Tsai struggles with his eyebrow. Yu Tsai tells him he needs to listen and Devin seems to bounce back.
Joe Zee and Yu Tsai have to intervene with Hadassah’s shoot and Yu Tsai says there’s no modeling done. Courtney aces her shot while Melissa admires Bello’s eyes. After a rough start, Bello seems to pull it off. Yu Tsai tells Dustin that he’s too much boy next door and he wants to see more of a man. But he struggles. Yu Tsai pretty much throws him off as we go to…
COMMERCIALS!
Justin follows Dustin. Erik tells him to think outside the box but not go too crazy. Melissa says she liked working with Justin and hopes he makes it. Mame asks if she can stand on some tires and Yu Tsai loves it. Mikey’s hair steals the show and then Ashley goes to steal it back. Yu Tsai shows off some of his ASL and loves Nyle’s poses. Nyle says he’s been focusing on himself and improving himself.
Of course, Lacey aces it while Ava talks about being one of the shorter girls in the competition. She says she’s not too confident but she does nail it. Yu Ysai talks to Stefano about disappearing and he says he knows he’s good looking. It’s more than that on this show, Stefano!
That’s a wrap.
Stefano calls home and is a total mama’s boy. He actually seems…normal…when talking with her. Ashley also calls home and has a good conversation with her mother.
Nyle wonders when the makeovers will be and Justin is worried. Hadassah is worried about hers as well. She says the pageant world isn’t too open to edgy and if her makeover crosses her line, she might go home?
Did we just get some foreshadowing before COMMERCIALS?
The models darken Christophe’s salon again in order to wring out some drama from these wannabes. Devin is getting shaved, Dustin is getting honey blonde, Lacey is getting chic bowl cut, Nyle is getting cleaned up, Ava is getting the model mullet and Courtney is going grey. Ashley is getting the Ty Ty chop and contacts. Bello is getting extensions while Mame is getting curls gone wild. Justin is getting a faux fade. Stefano is getting a flappy do and Yu Tsai tells him to own his space. Mikey’s worst fears are almost realized when they say “snip snip” but he’s just getting trim. And lastly, Hadassah is getting one side long hair and one side shaved.
Hadassah breaks down while Bello begs her not to leave. As she debates what to do, Devin accepts his makeover despite the three years it took him to grow the hair. I think he looks better. Nyle is happy that Tyra likes his look. Lacey trusts the stylist and does look good. Stefano says he doesn’t want to be an accessory and Yu Ysai says he is good at it.
Ashley is thrilled about her contacts and says goodbye to her curls. In the end, she looks amazing and Mikey says she’s completely transformed. Mikey says he looks just like his sister after his trim and there’s a picture as proof. Justin worries about getting mistaken for a K Pop star but he works it. Courtney puts up with a lot but she comes out happy.
As everyone talks about Hadassah, she cries and she runs away to the bathroom. Miss J tells her it’ll work and that he has her as we cut to…
COMMERCIALS!
Miss J continues to talk with Hadassah, saying she won’t be able to participate in pageants. Mame wouldn’t mind it if she got shaved. After Yu Tsai mentions the veterans, she agrees to do it. Aww, I wasn’t hoping she’d go.
Mame looks amazing and I just know Bello is going to have to adjust to having a lot of hair. Dustin looks…eh. Kinda the same. Oh, lord. Who did Ava piss off? Poor girl. Hopefully Tyra takes a look at it and decides she needs a redo.
At the house, we finally see everyone line up to do their confessional. Bello is in there as Ava and Mame work out who will go next. They think they need a board to help keep everything in order. Mame goes to grab a drink and when she goes back upstairs, Stefano has jumped. They start arguing and Stefano does the very mature “La la la la la” when several people point out he jumped Mame. Way to go.
Skull and crossbones. I don’t know who I want to go home more—Hadassah or Stefano. Hadassah doesn’t want to go home with half her head shaved and is determined to win.
COMMERCIALS!
PANEL! Tyra greets the models. There are prizes. There are judges—Miss J and Kelly Cutrone. Tyra says that since there were wasn’t a challenge, they will only be judged on their photo. Ashley is first. Kelly doesn’t think she’s connected to the other soldiers. Tyra says she can’t get past the old hair is excited for the new hair. Justin is next. Kelly liked the pose but wanted more energy from him. Tyra likes their balance. Courtney follows and says she’s brushing her mouth all the time now. Miss J and Tyra thinks she’s almost there. She just needs more giraffe and Kelly thinks she is connected.
Miss J likes Stefano’s face but not his pose. Kelly’s not feeling it but Tyra does like it. Miss J says he seems like a loner and Stefano says he’s independent and gets along with some people. (Not Mame). Hadassah steps forward and everyone notes she looks pissed. She tries to deny it but they force her to acknowledge she’s not too happy. She says she has to get used to it and Kelly tells her to suck it up. Tyra says her face is dead and Kelly doesn’t think it’s a good payoff. Tyra tells Dustin to harness his face.
Mame says she asked to get on the boxes and Tyra praises her. Kelly’s not a fan of the shot. Tyra likes Lacey’s shot but gives her some tips to make sure she doesn’t look short. Mikey is next and the judges like his photo. They think he likes one of the African-American girls and pick Mame. Devin reveals that Mame likes Justin and Mikey likes Ashley. Bello is next. Kelly likes his shot but Miss J thinks he looks like a backup dancer. Unfortunately, Tyra likes Ava’s mullet. And she loves that Ava is owning her shot and making herself looking taller. Devin is next and explains his pose is the bird of paradise. Tyra loves it. Nyle is last. Kelly loves the shot. Tyra praises that he was moving and working the camera. Tyra says his face just isn’t there yet.
She dismisses the models so they can calculate their scores.
Backstage, Hadassah complains about the judges’ criticism. Ashley tells her that they are just trying to see if she can make it in the industry. Nyle points out that they are complaining over hair and he doesn’t complain over his deafness.
COMMERCIALS!
ELIMINATION! Best photo goes to Ava (9.3, 10, 9.2). She is joined by Mikey (9, 9.5, 9.8), Bello (9.1, 9.5, 9), Devin (8.9, 9.3, 8.7), Courtney (8.8, 9.1, 8.8), Justin (8.7, 9, 8.3), Nyle (8.4, 8.8, 8.8), Lacey (8.9, 8.3, 8.4), Mame (7.9, 9, 8.1), Dustin (7.9, 7.7, 8), and Ashley (7.5, 7.9, 7.1). That leaves Hadassah and Stefano in the bottom two. Wait, I think I predicted this. Way to go me. Anyway, why are both of them in the bottom two? Stefano: Tyra likes his photo but the judges are confused about him. Hadassah: Beauty queen but prefers perfect. And perfect is boring. Who stays? Hadassah. Well, I guess I can put up with her for one more week since Stefano is getting the boot. Tyra tells Hadassah that her look and her spirit will make her a fierce model. She has to just lose her control.
Tyra tells Stefano to not be accessory and to go out and carry on. Stefano says he’s an alpha male and that he likes him and that’s all that matters.

Nyle
So, we still have Hadassah. I was kinda hoping for a full on makeover meltdown complete with game-ending flouncing. But no such luck. Oh well, better luck next week.
I’m also guessing we won’t have the comeback challenge this cycle. After all, there’s no social media aspect except for broadcasting tweets on air. So there’s no reason to cover up the true elimination order.
And you know what? I’m not going to miss it.
Next week: No retouching! Another fight?
