LA! The models return home so Lenox can admire her picture again. Will compliments her. Lenox says it’s an addicting feeling while Shei says she loved Adam’s. Raelia is still smarting from Tyra’s 4. It’s still higher than Lenox’s 1 from a few minutes ago.
Meanwhile, time to revisit high heelsgate. Denzel and Will have a tete-a-tete. He explains that he was raised by his old-school grandfather and was trying to move past the biases he was raised with. Will explains where he came from but understands that Denzel is trying to move past his prejudices. He and Denzel agree they are friends. Happy ending!

The next day, Denzel and Mirjana continue to flirt. Denzel is not sure what’s going to happen with their relationship and still won’t admit they are dating. Especially as he still has a boyfriend. Mirjana thinks she’s falling in love and never thought about cheating before. Everyone else thinks she’s just in for a world of hurt and that Denzel is using her.
They go to meet Kelly Cutrone, who meets Marvin Scott Jarvin from Nylon Magazine. He tells them what they are looking for and tells them they have a photo challenge. Kelly says they will create their own shoot in teams of 3 and be in charge of everything. The shoot is for something Kelly’s been working on for a long time—Electric Love Army, her own brand. The women will wear pieces from the collection while the guys will wear complimentary pieces. The winners will win a chance to be on Nylon TV with Kelly. She asks for volunteers to be captains. The teams are:
Mirjana: Denzel, Lenox
Matthew: Raelia, Will
Keith: Adam, Shei
Matthew wants to do topless but Raelia says they have to show off the clothes. But he begs her and explains his idea is the “sexy, high school slut.” Kelly overhears this and looks appalled.
Lenox praises the retro look of Kelly’s line. Mirjana is trying to tone down her image and tries to collaborate. Lenox feels likes a third wheel. Kelly tells Denzel not to wear a shirt while oiled up but he seems to ignore her. Bad move, Denzel.
Shei walks by Kelly, who tells her she is wearing her shoes. Really. Shei asks if it’s okay and Kelly warns her to be careful. Shei says she loves them and then goes to find her team. Marvin says he likes her but Kelly tells him that she doesn’t shoot well.
Outside, Shei finds her team. Their style is “army.” Shei seems to be the drill sergeant for Keith and Adam. Marvin and Kelly tell the two boys to put their shirts on because shirtless isn’t really the Nylon look. Kelly tells them that fashion sells shirt and pants.
Matthew’s team is doing “Love.” Will doesn’t think Kelly wants Raelia’s boobs front and center. Matthew tells Raelia to think tigress. Kelly looks unimpressed.
Mirjana’s team is “eclectic.” Kelly is upset to see Denzel without a shirt. He repeats the whole “don’t wear a shirt with oil on” and she’s like “GO TO MAKEUP LIKE I SAID!” He goes off, saying his team probably doesn’t stand a chance. Truer words have never be spoken, Denzel.

Denzel says Kelly should be more tactful but that’s the industry. Mirjana says she should’ve been a bitch and everyone finishes their shoot.
Denzel is right that their team doesn’t do well. Kelly says Lenox’s film sucks and her hair was horrible. Kelly brings up the “slut” comment and tells Matthew to lose the word. There is a shot they love. Raelia looks young and fresh, she says. Matthew says they weren’t thinking and Marvin says that’s sometimes key. Kelly tells them not to degrade men for women empowerment. But they love the shot where Shei is in the foreground and the boys are just standing there. Kelly loves it and is impressed by Shei.
Who wins? Army! They do a dance of joy.
Going back home, everyone goes to see their scores. Lenox gets a six with her team. Keith teases her about being on the bottom but she’s horrified. Mirjana finally gets what everyone is saying—she’s too wrapped up in Denzel. She realizes she needs to focus on the competition.
That night, Denzel is with the others in the kitchen and says he’s always been clear that he’s not interested in a relationship. Lenox’s BS meter goes off and she leaves. She has a heart-to-heart with Mirjana. Mirjana thanks her and goes down to talk to Denzel about their relationship. She asks if he has said something that she should know. Mirjana asks if he’s just in it for the fun and cuddles. Denzel says he does like it and Mirjana ends the relationship. Denzel says he doesn’t have answer to anyone like she does. Denzel climbs into bed, says good night to Mirjana and tells her to go to hell.

Morning! Mirjana decides to call her boyfriend, Tevan. She confesses to her relationship with Denzel. She stresses that it’s over. Tevan says he’s been supporting her but he’s rethinking it. She promises that it won’t happen again and that she loves him. He tells her he loves her too. She’s happy.
In the model mobile, everyone is happy they are over. And then Tyra meets them on set and Shei says this is exciting. She introduces Ken Chahine, who works for Ancestry DNA. He has their results. Tyra talks about their unique look but that they have strong common bonds. Lenox, Mirjana and Raelia share a common bond which is Asian. Adam and Shei are also Irish. Keith and Matthew are Spanish. Will and Denzel are Finnish, Scandinavian and European Jewish.
Yu Tsai and Cory come out to talk about their photoshoot. They will take their DNA results and use them for a futuristic theme where they will fall in love with a robot named Cory. Hmm. Yu Tsai says they will be dressed according to their heritages.
Mirjana is first to be shot by Erik Asla. Yu Tsai and Tyra direct the shoot. Mirjana thinks she was off because of Denzel. Raelia is next. She seems to be rocking the shoot. Adam is told to interact with Cory. Yu Tsai and Tyra joke about showing them how it’s done. Yu Tsai just punches Adam instead. Tyra talks about showing off the emotions to the camera.
Denzel says it’s crazy what he has in common with Will because he thought he was just black. He then goes to act in love with Cory. Raelia thinks he’s uncomfortable and Denzel blames the Mirjana situation. Lenox thinks he’s at risk of going home. Yu Tsai says he’s broken.

Yu Tsai talks to Denzel, saying he gives them notes but Denzel isn’t taking them. Mirjana doesn’t care if he goes home. And Denzel now likes her more.
Matthew is next and everyone thinks he’ll rock it because of his relationship with Will. And they are right. But he still needs to focus on his face. He thinks the more he listens to Yu Tsai, the worse he gets. Keith is next, arguing with Cory. Tyra shows him how to control his face. Lenox gets to lounge in a bath tub. Will says she’s his biggest competition and she turns it on in front of the camera. Tyra loves her. Now it’s Will’s turn. Tyra loves his work.
Red moon rising!
Denzel flirts with Mirjana via their Line app. She’s rethinking the breakup. She tells Denzel about her conversation with Tevan. And she reveals they were intimate. They had sex? Mirjana says the only thing she did wrong was have a boyfriend. Denzel asks about if he needs affection. She says she has a pillow. And they are back together as they take a nap. I want a Will reaction shot.
Oh, there it is. He thought she finally got and was going to change. Lenox, Raelia and Shei agree.
SKULL MAIL! I STILL WANT A PIRATE! Or someone to walk a plank. Matthew worries about being middle of the pack. Will thinks Mirjana and Denzel might go home. Denzel says if he goes home, he can still come back.

Time for panel! Tyra says she will discover her own DNA at the end of judging. Anyway, there are judges: Kelly Cutrone and Ms. J Alexander. His hair is 1960s. There are prizes. Mirjana is up first. Kelly likes her face and says it’s timeless. Ms. J thinks she’s too stiff and social media says she’s too posed. Tyra says Mirjana was leading but Kelly says she wasn’t. Mirjana says she didn’t want to be the bitch and Tyra says that girls sometimes think thatScores: 7, 9, 8. Raelia is next. Kelly doesn’t like it but Ms. J does. Tyra thinks she’s impressed. Scores: 8, 8, 6. Shei is next. Kelly thinks Shei looks like a nanny and that she’s stiff. Ms. J disagrees. Tyra was disappointed with her performance. Scores: 8, 8, 7.
Adam follows. Ms. J isn’t fond of it. Tyra tells him to pay attention to every part of the body. Scores: 7, 9, 7. Tyra liked how he showed off his cheekbones. Matthew fakes a Spanish accent. Kelly likes his face but not his body. But social media loves him. Tyra loves his face but the shot is still only okay. Scores: 7, 7, 7. Keith is next. Tyra says he lead the challenge winning team. They wanted more acting. Kelly wanted more from his picture. Scores: 7, 9, 7. Lenox is next. Everyone loves it. Including social media. Scores: 10, 10, 10. Will follows. Kelly loves the shot and says it can be in any magazine. Ms. J says Cory is feeling it. Social media loves it. Scores: 8, 9, 10. Denzel is last. He says he loves being connected to Will. Kelly is not a fan of his shot. He hasn’t done anything to take their advice to slim down and do cardio. Scores: 8, 9, 8.
Tyra dismisses the models to add up their scores to figure out who will leaving.

ELIMINATION! Best photo goes to…Lenox. She is joined by: Will, Shei, Keith, Adam, Denzel, and Raelia. That leaves Mirjana and Matthew in the bottom two. Matthew knows he’s just not bringing it. Tyra says he’s getting weaker and is just floating in the middle. Mirjana: Strong, commanding. But shrank as a leader so as not to be bitchy. Challenge score was dismal. So who is going home? Matthew.
Mirjana takes her picture. Tyra makes her repeat: “I’m not bossy. I’m a boss.” She tells Matthew to separate what people say about him as a product and not to let it break his spirit. He hugs the others and calls this an awesome opportunity.
So, what does Tyra’s DNA reveal? She meets with Ken. She is: 6% Native American, 79% African, 14% Great Britain. She comes from a line of freedom fighters, including a man who fought in the Civil War. Go-getters are common in her history. He went from slavery to being an entrepreneur. She hugs Ken and thanks him.

Well, that breakup lasted about a day. Wow. Anyway, I’m glad Lenox keeps climbing to the top. And you could tell this was Matthew’s episode to go. He didn’t impress Kelly after all. Time to see what happens with Denzel and Mirjana from here on out.
