(Songs not on the DVD are starred)

Kindred Spirits

Jigs and Reels

Black is the Color

Lagan Love

(Break)

Maid of Culmore

The Dutchman

Red Rose Cafe

Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears

Ride On

Hallelujah* (Neil with Keith and Emmett)

(Break)

Song for the Mira* (All sans Ryan)
My Irish Molly* (Emmett)

You Got a Friend in Me* (Daniel with Keith)

All Day Long

A Place in the Choir* (All)

(Break)

Clancy Brothers Medley

She Always a Woman* (Neil)

Once again, this did not end with the complete performance of "Ireland's Call" though some was shown as the credits rolled.

Recap Updates!

With the countdown on for the Fall 2011 TV schedule, I have been thinking of what shows I will be adding to my recap schedule:

Returning shows: “Body of Proof”—ABC, Tuesdays @ 10 PM
New shows: “Once Upon a Time”—ABC, Sundays @ 8PM

I am a little nervous to start recapping “Once Upon a Time.” On one hand, it looks good. On the other hand, it could end up being awful. We’ll just have to see.

Enjoy the preview after the jump!

And the Winner…

Will be revealed next week! I was actually wondering when Top Model would run their clip show/recap show. Generally, they ran it as the final six headed for the international destination. But this cycle, they decided to air it before the final. So the Ann-Chelsey walk off will be seen next week on the CW at 8PM EST. I’ve opted not to recap the recap. But I did like the peeks into the room where the girls await the judges’ decision. They got silly sometimes.

As for my “How I Met Your Mother” recap—it’s coming. I missed this week’s episode and watched it online last night. So, if all goes well, it may be your Thanksgiving present.

Where Are They Now: The Legally Blonde Edition

Oh wow! I realized I let this blog’s anniversary pass without any acknowledgment! I’ve made it to two years! Thanks to all those who’ve read and commented over the years.

When this blog started on June 9, 2008, the very first show I recapped was MTV’s talent search “Legally Blonde the Musical: The Search for the Next Elle Woods.” Ten girls from across the country were chosen to compete to be the next Elle Woods in the Broadway production of “Legally Blonde the Musical” once original star Laura Bell Bundy left. Hosted by Haylie Duff (Hilary’s sister), the Elle-wannabes were trained by the ahmahzing Seth Rudetsky and performed each week for Paul Canaan (a Legally Blonde ensemble member), Bernard Telsey (casting director) and Heather Hach (librettist). In the end, the final battle was between Bailey Hanks and Autumn Hurlburt as they performed for not only the judges, but for their families and director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell. Bailey was chosen the ultimate winner and assumed the role the day after the final episode aired on MTV.

The show closed shortly after.

And now I’m revisiting my first recapping venture with an update on our finalists!

Both Bailey and Autumn have been busy on the stage side of things but they will be starring together in an upcoming concert of Maury Yeston’s (Nine) “Titanic.” The show will be performed on June 21st for the New York Society for Ethical Culture. Their exact roles haven’t been defined but the cast calls for many characters, so it is likely they are playing a character and not just part of the ensemble.

Pictures of the two in rehearsal can be find here at Playbill Online.

Break a leg, girls!

Little Note

With the television season fully starting this week, I just want to take the time to remind you of the shows I will be recapping this season:

-How I Met Your Mother
-America's Next Top Model Cycle 13 (Already in Progress)
-Glee (Already in Progress)
-CSI: NY

Depending on how I like it, I may also start recapping the ABC show "Flash Forward."

I have decided that yes, five years is a good life for a laptop and will be getting a new one. However, I am waiting for next month because there should be some good discounts on Dell laptops coming my way at that time. I do not think I can wait for Windows 7 so I should have the new laptop sometime by mid-October. Because of the situation with my laptop, the recaps may be delayed a few days and because of how loaded my Wednesdays are, I am putting a temporary hold on CSI: NY. I am currently writing all my recaps the old fashioned way--pen and paper--and by the time Glee ends, my hand hurts.

So, happy watching!

An Apology

As I explained in my last post, I explained I've had some issues with my laptop. Well, they've gotten worse. While in Florida, my laptop started to turn off at random times. Unfortunately, we've yet to pin down a reason. If a replacement RAM component doesn't do it, I may need to say good-bye to my college laptop and get a new one. After all, five years is forever in computer years. Because of the problems, I'm afraid I've had to scrap the "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?" recaps, which is a shame because I enjoyed recapping "Any Dream Will Do." I am listing the fate of my Secret Life recaps as "Unknown." I do wish to resume recapping with the new fall season, but it may be a bit difficult cause I'll have to do it the old-fashioned way--paper and pen.

But I will, above all else, get the following updates out: America's Next Top Model Cycle 13 and my trip to Florida. I do want to recap "Glee" airing on Fox as well as CSI: NY. I'm not sure what other shows I'll be recapping--I want to give FlashForward a try. If you have shows you wish to see on "My Little Corner," let me know!

Where Are They Now? The Craig Chalmers Edition

It's time to find out what happened to the Joseph my sister called "my love"--Craig Chalmers!

Craig may have NOT been England's Joseph after finishing fifth in "Any Dream Will Do," but he WAS Bill Kenwright's Joseph. Craig's Number One Fan cast him as Joseph in the UK tour of the show. Craig continues to play the role today and his official website announced that he has agreed to continue to play the role until 2010.

Along with Antony and Chris C, Craig also recorded on the album "Dream On." Craig's website announced that he and Antony will be releasing another album together.

Any other updates are more than welcomed!

Where Are They Now? The Daniel Boys Edition

Make some noise, it's time to find out what happened to Daniel Boys!

After his surprise elimination from "Any Dream Will Do," Daniel joined the UK producton of "I Love You Because" when it opened at the Landon Theater. He played Austin Bennett. He also was part of the concert circuit, including playing Anthony in "Sweeney Todd" at the Royal Festival Hall. He was also a guest performer in Joseph judge John Barrowman's tour. He has worked wth Barrowman again, dueting with the actor on his Music Music Music CD and performing in Barrowman's tour of the same name.

Currently, Daniel is playing Princeton/Rod in the West End production of the Tony Award-winning "Avenue Q." He also has released an album, "So Close."

Any other updates on Daniel is welcome!

Where Are They Now? The Rob McVeigh Edition

Rob the Builder became my favorite underdog after the early elimination of Johndeep. So what has the sixth eliminated Joseph been up to since exchanging his hard hat for a colored coat?

Rob went on to sing "I Owe It All to You" for Eurovision 2008 and was part of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves with reality show staple Jade Goody. Rob also showed up on "I'd Do Anything," Webber's quest to find Nancy for the West End stage. He did a group number with the remaining six Nancys (and five other Josephs), "Dancing in the Street."

If anyone else has any further information on Rob the Builder, let me know!

Where Are They Now? The Chris Barton Edition

Tonight we move on to the fifth person to be cut from "Any Dream Will Do," Chris Barton! What's he been up to since turning in his colored coat?

He too ended up in Bill Kenwright's touring production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," playing one of Joseph's 11 brothers. Kenwright also chose Barton to participate in his boy band "Dream On," along with Chris C and Antony.

The last I can find on Chris B is that he played Benny in a production of "Our Benny" in the Liverpool Empire.

If anyone has any further updates on Chris B, please share!

Where Are They Now? The Seamus Cullen Edition

Time to find out what the eldest Joseph has done since his elimination!

After being eliminated fourth on Any Dream Will Do, Seamus recorded an album with his band Mosquito and was cast as part of Thriller Live, a revue of Michael Jackson's music, both solo and with the Jackson Five. Following this, he was cast as Che in the UK touring production of Evita, as announced by Andrew Lloyd Webber on "I'd Do Anything." He still records with his band.

If you know anything else about Seamus, please share!

Where Are They Now? The Antony Hansen Edition

Antony Hansen, he of the angry girlfriend, is our next Joseph to check up on. What has Antony been doing since he left "Any Dream Will Do"?

He's been in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," of course! His time on the show, though brief (Antony was the third Joseph eliminated from competition), impressed judge Bill Kenwright so much, he cast the lad in his touring production of the Webber-Rice show. Antony first played the role of Napthali, one of Joseph's 11 jealous brothers, then was promoted to Pharaoh. Finally, he assumed the role of the dreamer himself--Joseph--and finally got to wear that coat of many colors.

Antony was also featured in a concert at the Oxford New Theatre entitled "An Evening with Antony Hansen."

Along with Chris C, Antony was part of "Dream On," a boy band comprised of cast-off Josephs.

If anyone has any other information on Antony, please share!

Where Are They Now? The Johndeep More Edition

Welcome back to Where Are They Now: Any Dream Will Do! Tonight, we discuss the fate of Johndeep More.

Johndeep, as you may remember, was one of my early favorites and had the tugging story about how his family had never heard him sing before. Sadly, they didn't get to hear too much on the show as he was the second voted off. After leaving Any Dream Will Do, Johndeep has performed in plays like "Bells are Ringing," "Assassins," "Seussical" and "The Red Peppers." He also was part of the pantomime "Cinderella" along with fellow Joseph alum Chris C.

According to his MySpace page, Johndeep is currently touring in Spain with "Bollywoodland: Love Never Dies."

Johndeep's MySpace also contains examples of his singing. If anyone else has any updates on Johndeep, please share!

Where Are They Now? The Chris Crosby Edition

I know it's been almost a month since Joseph ended and Maria began (and I have the Maria episodes stored on my DVR), but laptop problems have kept me off the blog for some time. However, I'm back with my promised updates about our Josephs!

Chris C had the dubious honor of being the first person kicked off "Any Dream Will Do" and turn back his multicolored coat. That same year, he was cast in the pantomime of Cinderella. He started 2008 by joining the musical Half a Sixpence. The same year, he joined the group Dream On. The group was created by Bill Kenwright and featured other Joseph alums.

That's where my info on Crosby ends. If anyone has any other information, please share!

Maybe -- Harper's Island

Saturday:

Maybe --An episode of CSI: NY (I'm a bit backlogged)

Yes, I have decided to recap Harper's Island. It drew me in.
